  2. Thank you so much! 2 years ago when I decided to start making an armor kit and join the 501st I heard of the Centurion program. This became my goal- to build a costume that met the exacting accuracy requirements. To become one of the elite who pursued the refinement of the armor to the highest standard. My decision to join the 501st came not only from my love of Star Wars but of my love of movies as well. Props and costumes are a way of bringing the fantasy and imagination of film to you, to exist in our reality and be able to be seen- in real life and in arms reach. The ability of a prop or costume to connect to a film I love is a tremendous feeling for me personally, and to see people react to us while we troop is amazing. That sense of wonder, the lilttle bit of uncertainty about being so close to something they know can't be real- yet there it is! Right on front of me! That's Darth Vader! Oh look R2 D2! Not only I heard these exclamatians I have made them as well. Even during my first troop at Pensacon 2021 I was in my armor going "Ooh! Biker scout!". To me the strength of the illusion we provide wth our costumes is strongest when the accuracy and craftsmanship is there in our build. So that has always been my goal from day one of my path here at FISD and the 501st. And although this isn't the costume I started this path with (I'm stil working on it!), I am finally here. I am extremely proud to join the ranks of Centurion and I hope all of my builds inspire fans and my fellow troopers to take it as far as they can.
  3. Hi! Thanks I appreciate that. Is a close up front, left and right view sufficient for the adjusted belt pics or do you need a full suit up? Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  4. The original rivet covers were damaged during the belt disassembly and anovos doesnt have a replacemebt parts program as far as I know ha so I had to use another vendor Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

  8. Shawn Knight 27928 EIB letter Chemi Thanks! My pleasure, sir! https://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/27928-eib.png
  9. Thanks! I am thrilled to join the ranks of those who have come before me. I will continue on my path to Centurion and I greatly appreciate all of the Deployment Staffs observations!
  10. Is that sufficient on the frown? I used a toothpick against the edge of the gums to make sure there was a gap. Let me know of any other adjustments required! Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks - already making ready for the next steps! And thanks for the excellent build guides
  12. Sure thing! One of the rivets cap head broke during a troop but they are from a certain members centurion hardware kit. Still functions so I haven't replaced it
  13. So I have determined the problem. I wasn't using my phone or doing it as a mobile upload so we can eliminate that. After I posted initially I went back and tried the link choices including Direct Image. After inserting the direct image link nothing happened it remained a hyperlink so I removed it. The issue is I had multiple uploads/ downloads happening and my already abysmal internet speed (>10mbps) simply didn't post the image. So I deleted the link and tried the remaining choices. Mystery solved! Appreciate the troubleshooting input
  14. Thanks! I appreciate it. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  15. I used postimage and my dekstop computer . After I posted the front pic and saw the remainder turning into thumbnails I tried the other posting choices and none of them made the pics larger. Had I not used the postimage site previously for my spec ops specialist approval with good results I would have found another site. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  16. I used exactly the same links on postimage as I did on the first image and it still came out that way. Very frustrating. To the point I deleted them all and started over with same result. So no clue - sorry its a pain! Same method I used for my spec ops approval but it came out correctly. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  17. Amended my original posting with the missing photos

  21. Haha not a problem. Had two questions for you. Im looking for a set of spats for my fotk, Id love to score an anovos set but anything will do. And second- where did you source the matte shrinkwrap you use on your audio systems? In that size all you see is pvc, yours looks like polyolefin. I have a buddy who does car audio who saw your kit and wanted to know
  22. Thanks so much! Im a little confused about the shoretrooper page though.. ha. Im looking for the fotk thermal back detonator and fotk backpack (i guess its also the snowtrooper pack?)
