  1. You nailed it.  Looks GREAT!  :duim:

Thank you! Just got to work on my back strapping to make it more aligned an tight. Along with resizing my biceps and I should be good for pre approval before next sending the pictures off for my approval as well as work on keeping that back S-trim on stay there in my photos (has never fallen out)

  2. "Aiming it to have a 1-2 cm gap between the thigh and sniper knee like I’ve seen in photos"

Do you mean a gap between the top of the sniper knee and the bottom of the thigh?  For taller troopers having that gap may be a necessity, but it is definitely not a requirement at any level.  There are a few troopers in ANH that have that gap, but on the vast majority the sniper knee rides OVER the bottom of the thigh.

So this is good? Put some sponge/foam to make the sniper knee poke out more

  3. Remember to keep sniper knee from getting behind thigh armor. Some add padding to back of thigh armor so it stays closer in the front.

Still working on them I’m 5’7 and the AM kit is made for taller so I have a lot of trimming to do still. Aiming it to have a 1-2 cm gap between the thigh and sniper knee like I’ve seen in photos

  4. You can compare to the CRL but you want all the back pieces to be together with minimal gap. With the ab connected to kidney that might set the height of your butt plate.

Thank you see that now tightening up my back straps.

  5. You could shave a bit off the bottom of the shins to give you a bit more room.

Make sure you do the bottom and do a small amount at a time. It might take you forever to get the right size but it’s better then going too far.

Thank you for the advice will be taking 5mm off each time till a good fit. Think I should take any more off my thighs?

  6. Seeking advice, I believe my thighs may be to high up with not much gap between my lower ab armour and the thighs. Aswell as my knee gap between shins and thighs.

I believe my thighs are good but my shins may be the problem.
I am 5’7 and my kit is built for taller people as well as bigger like me.

Also any other points you would like to bring up is as well ATM I have only really fixed is the drop boxes.

This was my last approval photo from the front, back and sides (Taken 26th December):

  7. The shoulder pouch looks a bit low, Nadas, and would probably get in your way.  I found that attaching it directly to the strap on the pack works really well.

I might try that when I get my backpack thanks for the suggestion!

  8. Those pouches look great! Might I ask where you purchased them? I’m in search of some myself for my HWT build.

I got them made from Gungnirs Flight in the SCG forums, got my holster for my TK off him as well. I think he just only ships in Australia not sure tho. Does amazing work

  9. OUTSTANDING to know that we have another HWT about to join the ranks, Nada! :jc_doublethumbup:  Your choice of AM armor will serve you well in this role, (it's what I use for mine).  If I could give you a few tips they would be:

    1.  Get a new canvas belt specifically for your HWT costume.  Even for Basic approval it can not have drop boxes or a holster, and for level 2 it can not have holes from where you removed the holster.

    2.  Raise the ABS belt up a bit to where the top partially covers the lower buttons on the ab-button plates.

    3.  Hopefully the MP40 pouches you ordered are "leather or leather-like".

    4.  You gotta' "dirty up" that HWT armor!  HWTs have black weathering (as opposed to earth tones like Sandies), but don't go crazy with it.. (sometimes less is more).  This includes the pack.

If I can be of any help, always feel free to contact me.  By the way, EXCELLENT job on those ab-button plates!!!

There’s a little secret with my belt, my drop boxes are removable my belt is chicargo screwed on!

Only planning for basic so I can switch between Stunt and HWT due to moving a lot for university but after I get an officer like uniform feeling I’m going to go full HWT and dirty it up.

MP40 pouches are full hand made leather

I might try to raise the belt later on but is currently in a good position for me personally to hold when posing I’m 5’7 so short compared to most troopers haha

  10. Currently getting everything I need to transform my normal TK I’ve been working on into a HWT. So I have two armour sets I can switch between.

I have already received my Pauldron (Trooperbay) and ordered MP40 pouches (2 sides, one shoulder)

How my AM armour looks atm with the pauldron on, should be receiving my pouches this week or next.

Thinking of getting my backpack from Dave’s Darkside Depot where I got my AM kit from $350 USD and estimated $100 USD shipping to Australia which I resides in.

  11. It’s still on the GML forums for review mate. Hopefully not too much longer.

Don’t worry about it, just doing little improvements where I can for my own comfort and looks, shoulder bells never connected right with my biceps so this helps that
