  1. Update: been slowly working on fixes have ran out of snaps so strapping for now is hard to do but still working on it. New S-trim came today and have installed it still have to work on the ears and shins but have decided to add EIB details to my armour and will be adding all the rivets snaps on the ab kidney plate and butt plate.

  2. Here we go got my feedback from my approval photos.
Main Issues are my shins are to loose/big at my ankles, S-trim has to be one piece, my ear gaps are to big on helmet( can see through one of them), my butt plate was to loose not snug enough, my kidney plate was flaring out and the gap between my ab and kidney is to big.

I’m going to be getting help with my ears and tapering the shins from a SCG member Buckets.
I have ordered a new S-trim from my kits manufacturer.
And I have reworked the strapping and made shims to my armour which you can see in the following pictures still working on the shim strapping was to loose.

  3. Just now, Sly11 said:

Yes you can have two costumes from the one armour, just make sure you meet the CRL for both.
    The belt for example.
TK has drop boxes and a holster
HWT, no drop boxes and no holster nor can it have the holes where the holster is mounted so you need some extra parts. Two belts is easiest.
Also no weathering on a TK but you can make removable weathering.
One technique is the use a newspaper and run the pages against the armour. The ink will transfer but it can simply be polished off when you decide to troop as a Shiny what’re TK.

Made my belt with removable dropboxes, and the holes are not easy to see with my pouches on but due to my back armor. I personally don't like it to much and covering it up til I loose enough weight where the back looks good.

  4. Thank you for all the feedback, I feel like my shins and thighs sit nice on me they don't clip with the cod or butt plate and my shins don't touch expect the sniper knee which I have pushed out and planning to add some foam/sponge to the back of my thighs so it stops it coming under the thigh. it also does not bite me much when moving so I can walk for hours.

  5. Good night trooper! Nice looking armor!!

I have a couple suggestions that you will need to do for your approval.

First of all, you need to fill the gap between your abdominal and kidney plate... It's just, too much, it's pretty easy even when you can left the seam for basic approval.

As well, the little gap at the front on the lower ridge of the left thigh, just put some abs cement that match the same color as the armor and you will be fine so far!

Hope to see you trooping soon!

    Good luck! 74d682282efe5996803f0c4848a991b5.jpg&key=657b02a18559a352aec4569b312df37f574116336a7014d9a034ce9b36d6e5062a2ee8a7bd5015af6bdc6b35b2744a3b.jpg&key=d0eea52b043a82bce41f130348a60019b20de1f0ca471d40b00993a2a5b3b5b003b1b2dccaaa61654da7f989be8870d9.jpg&key=edf15a3dbb4f5385a4ae2154d476973c06f256ef6b5e4909ba67e36b55e4848c

  6. Hey Nadas looking good brother.

Regarding the Ab/Kidney side gap, according to the CRL there is no measurement requirement at basic however, please check with your garrison's GML as to what they require. The following is all that is required for basic Ab to Kidney. That said L2 and L3 will have tighter requirements.

    Abdomen Armor
    • The abdomen armor has a button area that matches the color pattern shown (3 blue + 6 gray); buttons are approximately 7/16" (11mm) in diameter.

Besides filling in the thigh gaps front (as suggested by Aizenoso) do the same for the rear or trim for mobility. I also suggest you remove any return edge that may help the armor sections sit closer to your body.

Thank you for the suggestion most of my return edges have been trimmed down to 5mm or to none as on my chest plate. Not to sure on the back plate and abs has it gone from my kit expect the top I believe.

  9. If you haven't added the snaps to hold the belt in place yet, I would suggest raising it a bit in the front, which will give it a more horizontal look from the side(s).  The top of the ABS belt should sit just at (or a little above) the lower button.

One thing I noticed is that your chest plate is developing a crack on the return edge.  I would jump on this right away by shimming it with a scrap of ABS in the rear, as it will only get worse and will eventually extend into the plate itself.  This thread may help with more info.

Thank you for pointing that out after looking at my chest price there was a ton of stress cracks starting so I have trimmed off the return edges. I was wondering does this include the bottom return edge?
