Got someone to take some quick photos of me in my armour today. My sniper knee fix and belt adjustment looks way better with the changes

Main issues I see is that I wore my shoulder bells wrong and my shims need to be replaced discoloured and not completely working

Nice work on the updates, with the belt the belt covers are normally closer to the outside of the belt. Also the corners of the belt look a little large, they should also meet the width of the fabric belt, you could trim a small amount off the end of the plastic belt to match.

[ANH TK Stunt AM Build Nada]

Working on getting my armour ready for EIB, I have trimmed my sniper knee to be more accurate, getting pictures of the canvas belt and drop box position and cleaning up the ab buttons. As well as new white elastic shoulder straps.

Blaster is on it’s way shame I don’t have my backpack for a while but got a fix coming with my new helmet for it this armour is not going to be shiny after ANH stunt goes through the checks.

I won’t be 1000 but my helmet has been shipped with my shim replacements. Time to do my final checks and start shinning my armour before some blaster marks come through on a HWT

I won't and haven't been I've waited for this helmet and shim material way before I got my TK numbers its been months since I've ordered it. I've been waiting for so long to attempt the new shims. I've over looked my armor and I have everything apart from my shoulder straps which have become to discolored for ANH Stunt and work on fixing my strapping that's become damaged and some fix some pieces with the cover stripes coming off. (See my build thread I've posted pictures of all pieces of my armor)

I don’t think I will be able to make the first 1000, I don’t know if I will be receiving the shim materials and new helmet that I need anytime soon. I honestly have no idea when there gonna be sent or revived.

Currently going through the checklist for my EIB it seems like mostly my everything is in check except my shims being a different color, white elastic used on my shoulders becoming discolored and my current helmet with one of the bottom screws.

Update on EIB I will have my armor soon at college in about a week. I believe my armor is nearly at EIB standards just need to wait for my shims and helmet, check over everything and I should be good to do new photos and apply!

After consideration and peer pressure, I guess I am going for EIB on my HWT as well but first on my TK so I can make sure my armour is good

My armour has been approved!

 

I won't be going for Expert Infantry for this armour due to having to weather my armour. I like it shiny but will be modifying my backpack to have no knob which Dave Conklin has made a fix for and will be sending to me other then that this build is done as I won't be going for EIB for my HWT

I got my armour approved!

 

This doesn't mean I am done working on it I will be trying for Expert Infantry this year when I go home in late October after university my new helmet is on the way which is a AM helmet so it will fit with my kit perfectly from Dave Conklin, I am also receiving new shim material as well to make the shims completely the exact colour of the armour. This build thread will be continued to update when I start the process to go for EIB.

After 8 months of hard work I have got both my ANH Stunt and HWT approved and received my TK designation.

 

 

 

I’ve learnt so much from the experiences through all the ups and downs. New friends, new techniques and how to use tools I thought I would never use.

 

Thank you to everyone that has supported me and help during my builds EIB might be goal in the future but I am happy I am finally in the legion

Not feeling like my ANH stunt will be getting approved after hearing back about my HWT so this build will be placed on hold till late October till early November due to being at college

Dressing Issues(Issues can be seen in backpack photo):

"Your thighs seem to be sitting a little low. We'd like to see these raised a little to reduce the gap between the bottom of the abdominal plate and top of the thighs.

 

You also have a fairly large gap at the top of your left shin that we'd want to see reduced, but I'm guessing this is just a dressing issue and doing the thigh up tighter would fix this problem."

 

My pouldran is wrong no rivets are to be present:

"There is also a rivet on your pauldron at the front of your neck (as shown in the photo) that we'd need removed as this isn't present in the CRL."

 

My backpack can't be approved:

 "You also have a knob on the top of your backpack (as shown in the photo) that isn't present in the CRL, so we need that to be removed also."
