  1. Hi all, just got a doopydoos blaster set. Every thread I look at seems to modify them heavily. I’m just waiting on my AM armour to come and without meaning to sound lazy, does the doopydoos kit need all the extra work or will it pass 501st approval with a standard build and paint? I’ve got 2 small kids, work full time and concerned I might be a pensioner before I step out the garage in the full kit. Thanks Linz
  2. Hi all, brilliant support from everyone. I’m currently waiting for my AM kit to arrive. Ordered a doopydoos blaster kit too, all from your great advice. Next question, where is the go to place for boots, neck seals and canvas belts for ANH stunt trooper set? Ive told the wife what I’m up to and she’s suggested getting the extras for my birthday next week, result. Thanks
  3. Ignore this message, hit submit on an earlier one by mistake. Thanks for info on blasters. Is there a go to pre built version that would pass 501st approval? I think by the time I’ve finished constructing everything I’ll need to paint a walking frame white to match it all

  5. Hi all, thank you very much for the advice and contacts. I’m currently happier than my kids are for Christmas having just placed an order with AM for his next batch in a few weeks time. So in the meantime where would I go to get all the extras? Under suit, blaster, neck seal etc? Ive registered with the 501st site, trying to navigate around that but really want to connect with people in my area who might have or will be building armour set. Then figure out who in what garrison etc signs off for 501st acceptance. I’m in Bristol, UK. Can’t wait to get started. Bit nervous but wanted to be a stormtrooper since I was small, probably like the rest of you. thanks again, you guys have saved me a lot of time. Great forum
  6. Think it was on another page of his website. I emailed [email protected]. No response yet but let me know if you have any luck. Not sure on prices as it doesn’t show them on his site. Cheers can I just check with people that I have the correct contact details for AM supplier? I’ve emailed [email protected]. Is this the only way to contact him? Thanks all and thanks for the welcome
  7. So would AM suit a 6’4”, slim- medium build bloke like me? I wouldn’t need the width larger but have long legs. Thank you everyone who’s added suggestions. I’m really keen to get started but having lost touch with RT earlier in the year, I’m no further on. At first I just wanted kit to mess about in but then started reading about 501st approval and thought it made sense to do it right and troop if the opportunity came up. So final supplier list would be AM or AT? Not heard of Anovos til now. Attraction RT was nice kit, he makes the helmet and seemed to take your measurements into accounts so guess I’m really looking for something like this as I’m new to all this

  9. Thanks for info about AM armour, sent him an e-mail and see where I get.
  10. Hi. Been looking to get a set of armour. I’ve read up a lot and decided to buy from RT-Mod as I’m 6’4” and seemed the most suitable option. Just wondering if Rob at RT-Mod is still making armour sets as after initial contact, I’ve not had any replies to e-mails for the last 3-4 months? Can anyone recommend another option for a taller trooper? I liked the fact that he builds the helmets and produces kit to your measurements. Thanks
