  1. IMO people in staff positions have a duty to remain neutral among vendors. I am all for letting people post all the evidence they want as long as they aren't breaking forum rules. If staff members show a preference, I don't think that's fair to vendors.
  2. They are limited by the 501st charter. Article IX says: The Legion does not endorse or manage the creation or sale of props, costumes, or costume parts or materials by anyone for sale to others. The Legion will not intervene in private sales or transactions of non-Legion merchandise or products. Legion rules do not extend to any disputes related to these matters. If you think the Legion should be able to do something about this, submit a proposal.
  3. If a buyer doesn't know, care, or understand what recasting is they will support sellers who recast. As a group we care, the general public might not. I saw someone comment that we are all copying from Lucasfilm/Disney anyways. And if nobody buys, then nobody would recast. Buyers have different priorities. If all somebody wants is to get approved and troop, and a recaster is the cheapest path for that, I can't blame the buyer.
  4. In this case FX is screen and prop accurate. I would think it would have to be allowed.
  5. So I guess this means that whatever you guys were using for your armor at the time is now the standard for the Mandalore version

  7. Yeah, 850ArmorWorks has a built version and they say they have fitted their armor up to 6'6". I'll have to check with them about my weird measurements.
  8. RWA is a no go also. I'm going with the Imperial Royal Guard. I appreciate the help but think it's just too risky with so many pieces having to fit my body type.
  9. Wouldn't it be easier to upscale for us taller folks?
  10. I heard back from AP and that option is out also. I'm thinking about going with the Imperial Royal Guard or a trooper that can be 3D printed.
  11. From what I have read on here a 7' guy was approved with AM but the kits are trimmed plastic without any attachment points built into them right?
  12. I am awaiting activation on the Star Garrison forums.
  13. My height and build has me especially worried. I have a 6'10" wingspan and am 39" from crotch to floor. I have an Episode II Obi-Wan with the Rebel Legion and can already tell this is going to be much more nerve racking.
