    Well,

    I'd definitely go in this order: ANH, ESB, ROTJ, TPM, AOTC and ROTS

     

    I think beginning with TPM is taking an aweful ris with your audience, they'll probably kick yourself asking you why the hell you're showing them such crap! :D That says a lot on my personal opinion of that movie.

     

    While beginning at ANH, you'll automatically hook them on Star Wars as it was meant to be seen .. with awesome special effect and a great story. After the OT, they'll want to see the PT.

     

    That's how I plan on doing it on my side anyway! :D Hehehe

    Hey Darryl,

     

    Yes this subject has been covered before .. the MR blaster is accepted as canon if you modify it with a counter. You can see a thread here doing just that: -------------

     

    The major turn off though is the weight of the gun .. as it's getting heavier on long troops. Also, it's cost and nature as a collectible makes it not as fun to troop with (fear of dropping, can't give it to kids who wanna see it, etc ... )

    Scott .. I always use the gallery as it both keep a thumbnail version to be quickly watched while other browse the Gallery .. and at the same time, I link them all in the majority of my threads. I have no idea how much space I'm using in my gallery, but I know that there's a load of pictures of my suit, gun or anything related that's been used and viewed quite a few times.

     

    On the other side, using an extern gallery like flickr or imageshack allows you to link them from different sites .. but I prefeer keeping them related to this forum only anyway.

    Nice T-track there, is it rubber or plastic?

     

    These are plastic I think. I could let Saberfreak answer this one as they come from him!

     

    They're really good and easy to work with. Actually, the one you see on the pic is warped (my bad) but I already have the replacement and will change it as soon as I reach it on my todo list! :D

    Saw ROTJ when I was 7 in theater .. I'm not so sure anymore when I saw ANH and ESB though .. it's kind of a grey zone for me!

     

    Fun facts:

     

    The only ever Star Wars toys I got when I was young is an electronic R2 that would walk around after being cranked on the side. I remember giving it away, it's now worth a few hundreds/thousand $$$, can't remember exactly. In 1995-99, I bought all re-released POTF2 carded figs, just because then I had the money!!! Not so long ago, I sold almost everything to move the money into Master Replicas props .. I never regretted it.

     

    I've always watched Star Wars in french until I was about 17. Wasn't much good in english before that and anyway, the place where I grew up didn't even have english theater back then, still doesn't have any by the way!!! After that, I never dared watching them again in french, oh man, you wouldn't even want to hear 3PO talking!!! Half of you would probably shut the thing off!!

     

    In french, characters are names differently:

     

    Darth Vader is Dark Vador

    Han Solo is Ian Solo

    I could swear C-3PO was named 6PO too but could never confirm this.

    I'm sure I'm missing others ...

    31 here .. still top shape, playing volleyball everyweek and began climbing a month ago!

    I still feel like I am 18 though and about 2 months ago, I was told I looked 22! :D

  13. Hero or Stunt

    I have an AP too, I went stunt as I like way more the big brow space above the eye. Lately, the Hero look has begun sinking in and I'll soon enough do an Hero build that will be for display only.

     

    the only think I don't like about the stunt is the bump in the right eye. It blocks part of my view.

     

    Check my armor build thread for the pictures of my AP with reduced eye bump .. it makes a huge difference IMO.

    Well, here's probably the last update of this thread. I've finished the paint job/weathering on this helmet and I'm currently debating whether or not I'm gonna flat seal this helmet. I might not in case I ever want to redo the paint work on this, or at least the weathering, since it's all acrylic, I could just wash it out and restart I think. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'll never touch it again :)

    Tell me whats the bucket you got made of? How hefty is it? I'm sure it's the same stuff as mycoming E3 trooper but it's makeing me a bit "Batty" waiting :P (and that "run part"? don't mean a thing you did a good job !)

    I completely overlooked that question, so since I'm gonna update in a few minutes, I'll do it now :)

     

    The Neyo bucket is a fiberglass kit gel coated on the inside. It's heavier than ABS but not so bad, It would easily be troop'able! Yeah, I ended up fixing the paint run with a good wet sand plus 2 more coats of krylon fusion.

     

    :) Also can you get a FX type of helmet liner into this, and if yes what is the type of glue you are useing to do stuff like this....Someone told me it's CA glue...what the hell is that? I sure would be happy if I could get a FX helmet liner into my E3 bucket :D

     

    I'm not sure about the liner part, first, I don't know what a FX type of liner is, but if it's standard construction helmet liner, yep, I'm pretty sure it would fit! I'd personally try 2 parts epoxy glue, but don't take my word as I never glued anything in it yet. I'm still waiting on my visor on that one!

    Well, If Steven completed his armor .. so should I!!! I think Steven has been here before me .. and I've been lazy as hell to complete my armor to Elite status!!! I've probably said it a million time already, but I just have my side to close down and I'm probably all good.

     

    I just finished rebuilding my helmet yesterday, and I'm pretty happy with the result! Pics to come!!!

     

    That will be done no later then this week, if not, you guys can ban me!! (You'd actually free a lot of disk space from my tons of pictures!!) Haha!
