Well remember we all love the pictures. Will be looking forward to seeing your build.
unfortunately due to current time and space restrictions Mark is making this set for me. But i completely trust his work, so I am just sitting here in my inadequate space staring at this computer... waiting...

I'm to understand it can take a little bit of time for it to all happen. Luckily I'm patient, but man it's rough having to do the waiting. However on the bright side as I've been approved I've set up my first troop for a couple of weeks from now and it falls on my birthday weekend. Nothing better really.
how perfect! im still waiting for my BBB......................

I have heard nothing but good remarks about automotive paint!! There is a step by step of a guy who painted his whole suit in the exact same process as a car someplace on these forums, lemme see if I can find a link....

New thighs (this is also the thicker version - cause why not) and shins. My goal is to better align the backs of the thighs and get a straight cut on the shins.
Dude you are loyal to your fitted armor. Love it.

The dremel bit can get very, very hot, use caution with longer cuts.

I was drilling something out maybe a week ago and my dremel died motor burnt out.
yes, it actually died from just, plain, old use. I have had this particular Dremel unit for i think.... oh dear, it's been in the family now since 89 i believe.
So for those Troopers out there wondering how good the Dremel actually is. I've actually had it that long.
It would probably be a cheap thing to fix, as i believe it was probably just a bad surge that shorted out the unit.

I really love builds like this. It's so close to they way they actually went about fiddling with these weapons in creation.

There are actually some builds on here, regarding some people who bought these kits and have upgraded them to 501st standards. But from what I read, it takes work. Not as much as say; the Rubies kit, but still a lot of work.

There have been countless warning on the site about TKUk and TkArmour not being a vetted armor seller. He uses recasts and many pieces are indeed oversized. Check back plate too!!!
