Thanks might need to try zap a gap,
Round 2, tried another glue with an activator pen, lasted til I flexed my hand, but this was an improvement on round 1
Was thinking afterwards that scuffing may have helped. Thankfully the hand guards are undamaged, and the gloves were only $3 from the supermarket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks was doing it after cutting, would make it easier doing it before.
Right arms almost done with 15mm cover strips

Biceps just awaiting cover strips Forearms with a few clamps Think I need a new system to be more efficient in the downtime while I wait for the E6000 to dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for info about the scoops. Any comments re my earlier question about the width of cover strips on forearms/biceps from photos above, before I start gluing.
Also how much should I be shaping the biceps, souls each be symmetrical on Both sides? Can't also bend my elbow past 90 degrees, will that affect my aim? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The tape represents an 18mm cover strip, is it way too small? Equally bad on all sides, can't trim forearms or biceps anymore as they pretty tight It was suggested earlier to use a 18mm on front and 22mm on back, but does the 18mm look too small? Ridge on biceps is 33mm front and 36mm back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks, yep still to take off the return edges at the wrist which should buy me some more space, just wanting to know if i was one the right track before trimming more off the biceps and forearms?
Forearms are also trimmed to marks line, about a 8mm overlap, but leaves 35mm wide ridge, for very wide cover strips, can't really go any smaller as hand just fits thru, without gloves. Can get 2 fingers in at elbow, is the gap too small or about right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Also the trimmed shoulders are pretty tight, don't know how I'm quite going to fit the bicep pieces underneath, any suggestions? Think their could be a big gap between chest and shoulders
Biceps are trimmed to Marks trim lines, just trying to work how much I need to take off to get a ok fit, the one on the left is pretty comfy on the Left arm Leaves about 30mm ridge on both sides, too big for a cover strip isn't it, any suggestions? Also is the gap at the back too big or is that normal? Can fit in 2 fingers, biceps pretty tight if I put on a gun show Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks,
Yeah i'd seen that on another thread, tried to narrow the space by hand, didn't have much luck, will try further down the track with a more mechanical means..
Also plan on adding the velcro.
Just checking these are the right ones for centurion, as I bought the last ones in the shop, the black one is the one provided by AP which is not pan head. They are only 3/8" but just fit Just let me know before I paint them please. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pretty lucky first cut. I taped off the detonator tube where the caps and wrap were meant to go, of course a bit of dust stuck to the paint as there was a wind gust as I left the shed. But it seems to only be on the underside out of view. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
