  1. I'd also like to add that I dry fit the magnets and clamps prior to gluing the cover strip down. Then, using painters tape, I tape the inside magnets down in place so that when I place the glued cover strip down, I am not fumbling with magnets on the inside and outside of the piece I am working on. I simply place the outside magnets on and they "snap" into place.
  2. So, can I just post pictures of my armor as-is and slowly take suggestions on what up change and update the pictures as I take action? Of should I just do my best to meet the CRL and use the Request process for that?
  3. I bought some fabric at Joann’s with the intention of replacing the pattern in the frown with something that is breathable. My question is if the pattern is too big to be approved? The helmet is a resin KB Props.

  5. Great news! I have been approved. Now to tackle the side shims...
  6. Thanks Dan. I have some really fine brushes and it certainly won't hurt to do it. Man. The wait for approval is excruciating. But I am going to be extremely patient because I submitted it during the holidays and family time is far more important than this. That is all on me for waiting until Christmas Eve to submit it.
  7. Thank you all for your comments. I painted the rivets and readjusted my shoulder strapping. For my submission photos I had my 12 year old daughter make sure my cover strips were all aligned. One question about the frown suggestion. The Anovos armor does not have a tooth to paint like the screen helmet in the example. Realizing that this is not a requirement for any level of approval, but an aesthetic detail, should I just drop a splotch of paint in the corner, or leave it as-is?
