Realized I had not posted in a about a year, so here is an update and some progress photos. I tried everything including bleach and could not get the armour white to match the helmet. I am not a gifted painter so I finally found a helmet that matched. The problem was it was too small for me. It was just the opening so I dremeled it down enough to get my head in. Now that I have some photos, I can see I am getting closer but still have a lot of work. The calves are too big so I will need to redo those. The ammo pouch isn't staying in place on the shoulder, and I need to make a lot of little adjustments to the fit. Always looking for other suggestions. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Decided to try and whiten the armor. The previous owner used abs paste for the joints but did not sand, so I started the sanding process. Going to look for a hand held sander this weekend to possibly speed up the process Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Ok, I was able to get back at this. I cut the butt plate a little more, added the tabs, and changed the connectors. From the pics it looks more even with the kidney plate. I also noticed that the left calf is not straight so I am going to have to redo that one, but we are getting there. Any thing else you see I should change or adjust before submitting? Have a interior photo " Tony and Sal thanks for the help, I am using the snaps and elastic process to connect the kidney to the butt plate. "You may want to add a little strapping on the sides of the butt plate so it pulls it in and sits against the kidney better, at the moment it's angled over. If that doesn't work you could always try adding some tabs to keep it in alignment." Q Thanks for the help and pics. I like the Tabs suggestion. That should help. Total goof up on the holster. Just got it and was a little too excited for the test fit to check. Thank you. The knee ammo pack is a little large so I will need to remove it and cut it down. I will round the edges as well.

After a little break I was able trim the back side , well actually I trimmed it three times and used a heat gun. The trimmed one is on the left, lol if you couldn't tell. How does this look? Is more trimming needed? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Hello, I was able to purchase an Anovos HWT armor over the weekend. Which I am super excited about. However my bucket is newer and a brighter white while the armor is an older off white. What is the best process to get them to match? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Took some initial fitting pics since it is easier to see what adjustments need to made with the wife unit wearing it. The big things I have noticed is: * snap plates on the side should be closer for a tighter fit. * I am going to need to trim down the butt plate to fit her better. Thank you both for the help. I have finally figured out how they go. I also watched the Trooperbay video on the calves. So, I can start assembling those. I have also made more progress on the wife's armor (test fitting below) and have another question. What is the best way to attach the ammo belt to the canvas belt?
