Ok. I forgot I had taken these out already because I wanted to keep them separate. By the looks of the 501st site model these are the ones I need for ANH stunt?
Already got the flexible hand guards with my gloves so I’m good on those.
Now I’m confused about the belt. The 501st site shows the belt with those little square thing I asked about earlier covering what I feel is the only visible indent. So I’m using the plain belt and affixing the square thing(s) to that?
Also the drop boxes. There are four am I correct in assuming they are front and back piece to close them?
And new question. Paperwork in the box said I needed to lightly heat the thigh ammo belt to properly fit it. Any suggestions on what to heat it with?

Ok. Since we are on the subject I unpacked it all. This is what I have and I’m not sure if I need it all.
Ammo belt with 4 drop boxes?
This will be for the right shin and left thigh
This looks like extra shoulder straps and chest pieces for another build
Not sure about this stuff.

For some reason I thought you were only building a helmet. Did you receive two waist ammo belts
I haven’t even unpacked the waist belt stuff yet. Didn’t want to lose anything.
On a positive note I’ve got a thigh. It’s a bit big at the knee so I’ll have to keep with that and maybe get some foam to keep it from being lopsided.

HA! Those are waist belt rivet covers. Sent to you by mistake I imagine.
Racked my brain trying to figure that out. And since they were with the helmet I assumed they were part of that.

Anyone want to give me a hint as to what these are for? They were with my helmet.

learn how to post your pics so we don`t break our necks
I’m open to suggestions on that too. This is the extent of my social media experience, unless you count MySpace years ago. So I just work with what I have.

yea I have to connect them to the straps. Just wanted to get a basic pic of it all together and see where I’m at. Bells should touching covers, by covers are you referring to the shoulder straps?
-
This is what I’ve got so far. The under armor is not what I’ll be wearing but it’s what I use for work. Shoulder bells need to still be attached and the photos were taken by my daughter.
Constructive criticism appreciated!

Welcome aboard! And greetings from PA neighbor.

I was told about that and it looks like an easy unit. My only issues is shipping to the states. I’ve had some bad experiences with out of country shipping and would hate to have that happen with this.

Want something “all in one” and easy to use.

Saw that. Was afraid about battery drainage in my phone

What are you doing for your voice system? RomFx is doing one last run currently if you haven't made a purchase. It is a very good set. Otherwise there is the Icomm which I use and I like that as well.
Not sure yet. I’ve grown fond of Ukswrath’s hovi mic system with the icomm cause I think it’s real cool. And his hearing assist looks good too. Just trying to get the money together. Don’t think I’ve seen the RomFX, I’ll have to check it out too.

Did some work on a thigh the other day. That’s been my hold up. Hopefully once it dries I’ll be able to get the second one done faster. Pretty much have everything I need just saving the money up for the amplifier system and a hearing assist. Got some model mold to fill the last tooth so it’ll be a non issue soon.

That pic proves it all. All alike from a distance but up close they are all different in some way.

Edit:
I hope, Frank is not angry to much because we captured his build thread for this "off-topic" discussion
I love it, makes me feel relevant lol. And it hides all the questions and issues I’ve been having. Plus its a lot easier to see what people think when it’s right there.

That brings a question to my mind: Would a trooper lose the EIB and Centurion, if the armor is being altered AFTER the approval of levels 2 and 3?
Not thinking about doing this, just curious to know.
I would assume if someone where to bring it to the attention of the people who bestow the EIB and Centurion status on you. But what’s the odds of someone altering it or telling on you.
