To me, this is what it's all about. Way to go Teresa! I was born I Calgary but I've lived in Toronto for the last 20 years. I can hardly wait to have my TK built so I can do this sort of thing too. Would like to know when this happens next year. I still have family in Alberta and might be able to make it a big trip back home for a visit and to troop with you.

I ordered a kit from Mark at AP. I wouldn't be surprised if I get the armor from him before I receive my refund from Anovos.

These bins are now $49US. Both sizes. The big one is huge and won't fit in smaller cars for sure. I picked up the smaller one today as well as two cans of Plasti Dip and some 4-40 slotted flat head screws. Impossible to find in Toronto and even hard to find in Buffalo. So $49 instead of $117 for the bin and $6 each for the spray instead of $23 each in Toronto. $61US vs $163CDN. Crazy.

Well, after reading this post I cancelled my Anovos order. I've been waiting since January 14th. I'm getting my ducks in a row and will be ordering from AP. Perhaps Christmas will come early this year for me. I really wanted to be trooping by my birthday next year (February) and I think this might happen now.

Thank you everyone. Again, what a great community to be a part of. I've reached out to my local garrison, been following/memorizing ukswrath's Anovos build, buying all sorts of stuff online (voice amp, fans, TK Boots, hearing assist, etc), sewing straps and belts (I have a commercial grade sewing machine) and doing everything I can while waiting for my armour kit (um...Anovos?). I'm planning a trip south of the border soon (hello Buffalo!) to pick up a box at Home Depot for my armour. It's way overpriced in Canada ($56US or $117CDN, What?!) I'm learning so much and can hardly wait to meet the people in my local garrison, start trooping and giving back.

I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum over the last few weeks and have now joined. What a great community. I've wanted to own Stormtrooper Armour since I was a kid and perhaps that will happen soon (Anovos delay victim). I've already been assembling the inner workings of my bucket (fans, power, amp etc) as well as what I'll need for Centurion level armour. Being a part of the 501st is on the top of my bucket list and I hope to be there soon (um...Anovos)

In Canada this exact bin is $158! Yes, $158 at Home Depot. Even with the currency exchange this is insulting. Looks like I'll be visiting Buffalo soon.
