I found a solution to coupling which cost none to nothing. Cut a square piece a Eva rubber and place it inside the helmet where your mic sits ( this will muffle 99% the sound coming out the helmet ) mine is 2 by 2 inches. For extra sealment i cover the mic foam leaving the mic area free. I have tested this and it works Good luck

Hi guys Any tips to avoid the dreaded coupling. I have an Aker in my chest armor ,and a wireless mic in my helmet and it seems i cannot avoid getting coupling? Cheers

Hi guys, Yep, mine cracked and broke too !!, so i know the feeling. So what i have done was to cement a rectangular piece of abs underneath the bridge area affected, to give it more of a rigid support and created two thin strips of abs to use as a scaffold underneath the outer rims of the shoulder straps, to strengthen the the bent area. This hopèfully provide more strength to the area?. I also placed white tape underneath it, just is case cracks again and falls out while trooping. fingers crossed
