Looking for a good one piece undersuit with zipper in front. What are some good ones and places to purchase them?

Do you think I should bother with ordering some direct from Humbrol? I bought new cans but havnt tried them yet, but they are from the same shop ive been getting all of them from.

As far as we know yes, but that knowledge only extends to the paint being referred to as "in little tin cans".
Has to be Humbrol paint then!

I had this happen to me as well but not so badly that I needed to take corrective actions. It was the grey for the helmet (I don't recall the number off hand). I assumed it was because paint was drying around the edge of the tin and I was using that to wipe off excess paint from the brush. The blue had other issues - shaking did nothing to mix it, I had to stir with a toothpick for several minutes every time I used it. They were from a local hobby shop, and if memory serves me, I had to brush the dust off the little tins - so I assume they were fairly old. I just assumed Humbrol paint was garbage and that was the way it was in 1976 - so my paint job is a little grainy in a few spots.
Were the film TK's painted with Humbrol?

Hi Chad,
Personally, I’ve not heard of that before but, do you have any pictures of the effect? Others might recognise the issue and have a solution.
Are you painting in extreme temperatures?
Dan :-)
Nope just normal room temp inside.

Which tins are the new designs?

I do not have any pics as I have already cleaned the paint off to redo it. It literally looks like sand sprinkled in the paint. Yes I have only bought this paint from one single hobby shop, perhaps I should order all new paint online or direct from Humbrol if possible before I repaint.

Upon using Humbrol paints recently Ive encountered issues, the most common seems to be grain in the paint (almost like sand) I have changed brushes and even bought new paint as well and the same issue occurs. I stir the paint alot before I use it. Anyone else encountering same issue?

Couple questions, just received my full RS kit and I am wondering which thigh pieces go together as each piece is extremely different, also same goes for the forearms inside pieces as one is at least 2.5 inches longer than the other and extremely different as well. Any help is appreciated.

I have read that AP has recently added 2" to the leg sections of armor. My upper thigh circumference is 27" and Im wondering if this will fit? Im not sure when this mod was made by AP. Ive spoke with a fellow trooper here who purchased a kit last year who has a 26" upper thigh and he stated the thigh armor did not fit without needing shimmed. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the info.

Researched a good amount here on FISD, some photos of peoples RS builds do not show up anymore because they are old photobucket photos. Im trying to find references of how this helmet is supposed to be accurately put together. Where do the rivets get installed at, chin strap, ect. Any info is appreciated! Thanks.

The 2nd pic with only 3 colors is the correct one right? Just want to double check. Thanks.
