6/2/23 Echo's Big Day Out, a celebration for adults with developmental challenges. We made A LOT of people really happy with our (questionable) dancing skills! We even had help from Supergirl and Mirabel.

Since it was May the 4th, we had to squeeze a second troop in. Over the Edge was a fundraiser for New Hope Housing. Participants raised funds by rappelling off the side of the Hilton in Crystal City VA.

5/4/2023 Super fun troop! We participated in the promotion ceremony of a Coast Guard Chief to Senior Chief. He marched into his ceremony in Sith robes with a lightsaber. The crowd laughed when he walked in. then roared when we followed.

I've got a lot of catching up to do. I've been so bad about updating my troop log this year. Here we go! Second troop of the year was at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. This was a last minute troop for young boy undergoing cancer treatment on his birthday. We were able to entertain other kids as well. No photos from this one, but I did geta picture of the Proton Treatment room, where we were with a young man finishing his last treatment. I swear it looked like it belonged on a Star Destroyer!

January 2022 First troop of the year, and one more children's vaccination clinic. The boss stopped by this time!

I just repaired a couple of small cracks on my RS PVC armor using JB Weld Marine Epoxy. https://www.amazon.com/J-B-Weld-50172-MarineWeld-Adhesive/dp/B00R2CDVIW/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=jb+weld+marine+epoxy+resin&qid=1639967273&sr=8-9 My cracks were in curves like yours, and in an area that is too tight to squeeze a piece of PVC into as a backing. I built up some of the epoxy on the back of the crack and it seems to have solidified well. Time will tell if the repair will last, but I'm hopeful.

November 2021 Inova Children's vaccination clinic, Fairfax, VA A very fulfilling troop, raising spirits for the hospital staff, parents and especially the little troopers And SOMEONE needed to keep an eye on the motley Mandalorians and Rebels who were lurking around. They were fun to troop with though.
