I have been using the chat quite a bit lately and it sounds like the customer service department is very limited and they don’t get much information at all. As we know Anovos in general has a horrible communication problem with customers and apparently within too. The CSR’s always say they are asking for the information and can only give what the production department is giving to them.

In my opinion it’s the production department and their lack of communication with everyone that is driving Anovos down.

It sure would be nice if upper management would address customers and fans at a Con or something.

I wonder if a small group of customers went to an Anovos booth at an event with posters listing our first hand experiences with Anovos, wait times and lack of communication. Something civil and factual like “Hello I am an Anovos customer and am still waiting on my order/refund for 2 years now and still no hard shipping dates”. Maybe that would get their attention.

FINGERS. TOES. ARMS. LEGS. ARE CROSSED FOR DELIVERY!!!!

Tangentially related, I just got am e-mail earlier that their F-11D kit is back up for pre-order. Doing another run. So if you missed it last time...

A reminder, this is the "Standard" trooper model -- no shoulder stock, mounts to thigh bracket. Not the upscaled "Heavy" version. So if you're doing a Phasma or FOHWT, this isn't the correct blaster.

Speaking of the F-11D kits.... Has anyone posted a painting tutorial for the ANOVOS F-11D kit? I have had one for about a year now and the instructions only detail how to assemble the gun. If my memory serves it didn't even say what kind of glue to use. It definitely does not describe/provide instructions on how to paint it. Any threads up here with a walkthrough????

So then I guess the biggest issue is per basic approval,

    Back/Yoke
The back plate contains a "O II" design where the O is black.

The back/yoke is one seamless piece.

The yoke portion extends over the wearer's shoulders and curves under the armpits.

With a seam, joint or hinge it wouldn’t be, “one seamless piece”.

Apologies if this has been stated already but have basic approval guidelines ever changed for armors? Does the CRL base anything on behind the scenes  set pics like the ones posted in this thread? Or strictly based on what's on screen?   Do the KB or Jimmi kits have seamless back/yoke?

Here is the latest from Anovos.

"The kits are going to begin shipping in the Spring Season before June 20th and continue shipping through the Summer Season until September 21st, but since your order is from 2016 it will likely be shipping late Spring/early Summer!"

    I ordered November 2016.

Did anyone in this thread talk to Anovos at SDCC? I am sure it was the same non-answer answer but I was just curious......

I ordered Sept 2016 - For almost two years now my wife tells me that Anovos has scammed me out of $$$$ and I keep telling her "they're gonna ship they're gonna ship!"  ;P

With the price I paid I am going to wait it out. If this had come out a month or more ago. I would be looking really hard at other armour on the forums and if I could get it in time for episode VIII. If I hadn't already invested the money and time into getting everything I would need for this Armour ahead of time I would be really tempted to just say screw it altogether. I spent a long time getting everything I needed financially in place for this. To them be let down again and again. I had talked to Anovos reps at cons they had been at several times before I purchased and several more times after the purchase. I talked to the rep that was at D23 and he swore up and down the Armour would be ready in September. I know I am ranting and no matter how much I do rant it isn't going to change the way they handle customer service or get the Armour to me any sooner.

I talked to Anovos rep at NYCC this Oct and the told me it was worth the wait. They also said it was shipping in Nov. Well I see that has come and gone. I also wonder how many pre-orders does ANOVOS have for this too?  I have everything else for complete costume ready minus pistol/blaster (but had started 3d printing pistol recently)

    sigh...........

  7. Like all of you, I just got my ANOVOS Update email. I was SO excited thinking that it was finally shipping only to read the delay excuses. Truthfully their info doesn't even guarantee a ship date on Winter 2017 either. being in pre-production could take years (oh wait it already has...)

I REALLY want to cancel my order and just get a kit from the other folks listed on the board but those wait times could be just as bad. The only thing I've gained by waiting is that I got in on the early pre-order pricing. At this point I want to say f*ck it. Can someone please give me a compelling reason not to cancel. All I really want to do troop with comrades.

  8. Hey Folks,

I know were waiting (and waiting) for Anovos to ship our TFA suits - I was at New York Comic Con today at the Anovos booth and was asking about the ship date. The Anovos I was speaking with said he couldn't give me any concrete shipping dates (standard line they say) but he did say "FWIW the First Order kits are shipping sooner within the Fall 2017 window than toward  the end." He also said its turned into a really slick kit and the delays are totally worth the wait.

Take all that with a grain of salt (like I am) but I wanted to least share what I knew with all of you. It also corroborates Peregrinus said above.......
