    Unfortunately it looks like the settlement only covered the 3 or 4 plaintiffs against Anovos. What about the rest of us who have been waiting (some of which like myself since 2016???)

    And yesterday it arrived.

    I am SOOOO HAPPY for you!!!Ive been waiting for both Kylo Ten helmet and FOTK. Seeing this post gives me hope......

    Well I just heard from Anovos today after reaching out to their customer support line on Sept 11 to update my shipping address. 

     

    I heard from "Stanley" and he confirmed my shipping address has been updated for all my outstanding orders. He finished with

     

    "Keep an eye out for our next newsletter coming out soon! We will be giving you the details when items will start shipping.

    Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you! "

     

     

    Basically Same old story...non info update.....

    I know the full story of why/how they got to this point with the FOTK kits, yet stood by them. It was my bad call.

    I am SOOOO close to joining you. I have been on order since September 2016 for the FOTK and 2 years on the Kylo Ren helmet. Would you mind detailing the process you used to get your refund? I think at this point I am ready to move on to another vendor that actually ships. (incidentally who did you end up going with?)

To be honest I was just as surprised to here someone was able to pick up a bucket there, until I found out today Disney has contracted Anovos to be their supplier for another 3 years.  Just guessing here but if that's the case Anovos probably sent every helmet they had in stock to Disney for GE opening. 

    You mean they sent all three of their demo/con/trade show buckets to Anaheim. -_-

    While we're on the subject of gaskets - I'd like to get the quality non-Anovos set that most of you are talking about.  Pinky's gaskets are the ones to get right?

    I mean since Anovos gaskets are delayed and from the pics they appear to be cloth (not rubber) I might as well. 

     

    I am also one of the folks who ordered (and received) the TFA helmet from Anovos when I pre-ordered what was advertised as the TFA armor kit. Who sells a nice TLJ bucket kit? Looks like now I'll need that too.....

    That said not everyone buying one these costumes, or any other costume from any supplier is planning on joining the 501st. 

     

    I DEFINITELY want to be 501st approved. Its been a goal of mine ever since I started doing research, seeing you guys in the community (shoutout to 501ner), started working my other star wars  costumes, and going to cons. I sincerely hope that when our kits do finally arrive that you all will share exactly the mods needed to make the anovos kit 501st approvable.

    Are you serious???? Anovos has the moxie to hold a panel at CELEBRATION?????? People are going to rip them to shreds.......I mean I have been waiting (like most of you since 2016 for this kit, and I have been waiting for other star wars items to ship as well) I keep the faith but its tough.  I hope you guys record the panel or post highlights to this thread. I'll be all waiting to hear what happens. 

     

    I see they have a booth but they are not listed as an event/panel according to the celebration schedule I see.
