  4. Here is what it looks like.. that's the gap right now on both sides.... Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  5. So I am a little worried about my ab section connecting with my kidney piece. It's definitely not going to be flush. Is that a problem against me getting into the 501st?? It's been 4 years, my body has changed slightly from when I bought this thing... lol Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  6. Also, how does my TD look?? And how am I supposed to do these clips? RS didn't send them bent already... Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  7. I am having a hard time figuring out which side is which for the thigh pieces. It's an RS kit. Is there an easy way?? Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, I am definitely going to be doing the double snaps then. If I wanted to make those myself instead of buying the straps from TrooperBay or somewheres, is there a link to custom made ones in here?? Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  9. Thank you for the links! Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  10. I love the diagram, thank you! Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  11. Hey folks! It's been a bit since I was around these parts. I had received my BBB of goodies back in 2018 and begin my journey. Things came to a halt in 2019, life got busy and the build got put on the back burner. Now 2022, life is still busy, but I am now able to spend time on the build. So back at it I go! Will post a few pictures when I get home later! Have a question though, probably one of many... which system does everyone prefer underneath the torso armor, straps or hooks? Not sure what to purchase... Thanks! Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
  12. You are doing a great job! Keep it up! Love the use of zip-ties.
  13. Thank you! My nerves are still on edge everytime I cut... Lol. Don't want to make too big of a mistake. Having fun though! Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  14. Thankd@justjoseph63 I was planning on trimming most of the return edges anyways... Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  15. Biceps are coming together pretty good. I think I am going to leave the biceps for now and start on the forearms. When I am happy with the forearms, I will take a test fit with both biceps and forearms together. No glue for a while. Want to be able to correct if I need to. And plus, haven't bought any e6000 yet.... Hehe! That way, I am not tempted to use it. I will take a few more pictures of the biceps when I get home later. Capture a few more sides for you all to see. Stay tuned! Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  16. Ok.... Happy New Year, everyone! Got back to work on the build. Did some of my biceps and was wondering how much of a gap there should be between the armor and your arm? Like, I measured my arm and it is 14.5inches, flexed. So, should the armor be like 15inches or 15.5inches?? Or am I over thinking this part too much?? Other than that, I also purchased my undersuit... 2 piece, of course! Pretty cheap at Wal-Mart. Glad that the holidays are done so I can focus on the build a little more. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  17. Looking good! Can't wait to start my bucket! Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  18. Alright... So i roughly put the biceps together. Do I still need to trim down the return line in these pictures? I had read 8mm... Don't know if that's right. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  19. That looks familiar! Glad to see another RS trooper! Can't wait to see the progress! Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  20. This can happen pretty fast and not even know it until you jump in the shower. I guess I scratched my skin with some unsanded armor while sliding armor on and off the arm. Started small trimming around smaller pieces last night. Got my lexan scissors so I needed to test them out. I shall be starting the biceps this weekend. Stay tuned for pictures and questions!! 21. Also, I am putting my order in for my TK Boots this week, hoping that they have my size. For a blaster, because it is not a part of the approval process, I have decided to buy a Rubies E-11 blaster and make it myself. That way, if the kiddies want to see it and are rough with it, not a big deal. As well, don't have money for a replica one.. Other stuff I am ordering: neck seal, holster and belt, gloves with hand guards and buying a two piece undersuit at a local store, without any logos. Still don't know what I am doing brackets or what... Maybe someone can help me decide on that. Any suggestions for any of these items, would be appreciated! Currently gathering the rest of my tools as well, borrowing from different friends because I don't want to buy them... Lol. I have already gotten a rivot tool, dremel and some clamps. Need more magnets as well. I need to drive to a hobby shop in another town to purchase a pair of lexan scissors because I haven't found any in my city. Unless there is another option?? Anyways, I think I have covered everything up until this point. I hope to start a little bit this weekend. Been basically reading a bunch of threads and getting familiar with stuff this week, so far. If I have forgotten to mention anything, please let me know! Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  22. Ok... Started dividing the armor so I know what's what. Helmet parts and accessories. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  23. Looking really good Sean. Keep it up! Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
