Starting the process of fusing the butt and kidney plates.
Removed the return edge off the top of the butt plate and bottom of the kidney to create a flat join, which will be connected via a couple of pieces of abs.

Looking great. A good tip is to fit your armour with your undersuit on, that way you'll get a better idea of how it will fit when trooping.I think these forearms are just about ready to have cover strips installed. I am planning to even out the bottom of the right where the black line is to clean that up. I am still contemplating making the 1/8 inch adjustment to the wrist side of the right forearm but the tops are the same measurement. The wrist side should have plenty of room to slide your gloved hand and suited up arm though right?

Pretty happy with the results with my first attempt at a weathered paint. Using the toothpaste method on a sample piece of ABS in readiness to start painting my Shock Trooper armor.

Hi Scott and welcome to the FISD. There are lots of great tips that can be found in the ANH Build Threads. Link below
https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ewhitearmor%2Enet%2Fforum%2Findex%2Ephp%3F%2Fforum%2F6-ANH%2B%2B%2528Stunt%2Band%2BHero%2529&share_sfid=6&share_fid=44557&share_type=sf
I'd also suggest creating your own build thread, where you can post updates and questions.
Good luck and enjoy.

TK20187 from the Thylacine Outpost in Hobart, Tasmania , Australia reporting in and after 12 months of being a TK I now have a second kit to start building.
I love the look of the Shock Trooper and I've been the fortunate recipient an unfinished kit that is perfect to build as a Shock Trooper.
Looking forward to my second build.
Given the kit was already mostly trimmed I'll be using the butt joint and cover strip method for most of the assemble, the thighs being the only exception, which will be overlap.
I'll post more pics as the build progresses.
