  1. Just straped the torso together and coulden`t resist this foto-op...so..here goes.. (read it singing for effect) I´m half a stormtrooper yes I am Left side looks fine (Centurion in mind) Right side indicates a diet coming my way...or...buy a new undersuit size XS and hope for the best kidding aside, having the undersuit on just might make it better, we`ll see #fingers#crossed and just to make you jump..TROOPER-SELFIE....
  2. Gotcha! Thanks I appreciates it
  3. Thank you Sir It`s even more beautiful in person, truly a work of art, both by the original sculpter and in this case TM and...you don`t Think I should replace the brow?
  4. That`s a good point, especially since the forearms are connected to the biceps by default....it`s just a long-shot but perhaps it`s because they mainly kept the elbows bent holding the blaster
  5. And here`s me thinking that was some sort of on-set repair...do you think that it was intentional or for that specific trooper...problem with sliding/twisting bicep etc?..and why not tape the "securing-tejp" on the inside...just playing 20 questions here..it`s really fun to discover new things in Movies you`ve seen soooooo many times....for instance, in the cell block area when they are pind down, in one shot Luke is missing a shoulder bell and in the next it`s back on...just recently caught that
  6. Turns out I am a klutz coulden't keep my hands of the helmet and started cutting away, all is well and then there's the brow....cut It to short...measured the inside..doh!!....I know the ears will cover some...can it work or should I get a new one? The ones in the movie aren't perfect but Is this a lost cause.... Beautifull helmet though
  7. A Aha! I did wonder but figured it was some sort of protection... I´ll use that tip, thank you Sir Screen accuracy should be the highest level of approval I think I`ve read somewere that the interior strapping is of no concern when applying as long as it don`t affect the "look" ......anyways.... I think I´ll let the bicep hang loose for starters....and, never seen the first option before
  8. I felt like such a klutz for not beeing able to perform a relatively easy task so had to check it out first thing this morning and now I feel better still the matter of getting some tension though
  9. That makes perfekt sense and I actually did snap in the shoulder strap...but I think it was poorly executed on my part since they do look a bit long now when I look at it, thanks for pointing that out...however I didn`t allow for tension (rookie-mistake) so thank you for that as well remodeling the straps it is!
  10. and....finished of the biceps...all in all a nice day...as always when tinkering with stormtrooper armor
  11. well.....painting is done but it`s taken forever to dry even with artificial heat (hair dryer) so back at it tomorrow got some "online help" for the ab-buttons ...the brushes on the other hand were rubbish so they went in the bin afterwards but the result came out okay I think.
  12. and these have to be painted aswell ....and glued in place
  13. latest work-session only got one picture but includes all the more work those split rivets gave me the jidders at first so the first one took as long as the other six started with the cod but apperently that didn`t make it in to the pic tomorrow it`s painting of the screws and rivets and hopefully I have time to glue the shoulders/bridges and elastic, to complete the torso
  14. Thanks and jepp..I´m just 5mm shy of beeing the often spooken ideal hight of 5´10 however...at 200lbs there are other challenges
  15. happy times..time for brackets All done and....cover buttons glued in Place...on to next mission
  16. And the dropboxes...I cut the first outer one to size and used it as a guide for the other one, the inner boxes I just put inside the outer, then mark and cut....and this is how it looks
  17. Imperial factory up an running ones more I had high hopes for a lot of progress but ended up with "just" the belt...following TM turtorial on FB Drilled the holes for cap rivets and marked the middle on the cloth-belt and put the cap in Snaped the belt to the ab and marked the end-holes Put the caps in and in the words of the master (not mine) it`s a perfekt fit
  18. Another happy day working on the armor Shoulder bells and bridges are done (trimmed and cleaned up) biceps and shins are trimmed to size and just need som cleaning up *woop woop*
  19. You are most welcome but...I can`t take credit, it`s just one of the perks working at a school (at least were I work) that you can use the facilities after hours and before as well I actually just got home after getting some triming and sizing done.....and regarding your workshop..I can only imagine what it must be like, I remember seeing a video of your Halloween and it was just Sick!! and I mean that in the best of ways...and body parts you say...well that`s totally fine to as long they are from rebel-scum
  20. I know right?! caught myself just watching the armor with a stupid grin in my face more than once and.... still on the easy parts but I hope so and at the same time I´m so enjoying this I never want it to end in a way...oh well I can always save up for another Kit and it would be well worth it! In my head I already have a Luke-, Han- and a stunt- version in TM-armor...oh and a ESB-trooper and ROTJ-trooper
  21. Just triming, cleaning edges and singing along ....*happy happy happy*
  22. Work began today *yeey* the bells were bigger than my other armor so might just be able to keep some return edge, tomorrow I will clean upp the edges and maybe start strapping the torso or trim legs and arms...but so far so good....really really enjoying working with this kit, great prep work from TM! the little jar is of course abs-paste in case.... and....the armor really is super-flexy and I can´t wait to try it on
  23. Thank you Sir and thank you yet again for your awesome work! Gonna start the trimming tomorrow and I will do my best to make the armor justice...truly a work of art And...I am so going to enjoy this...almost have to calm myself down
  24. I totally agree, the armor looks amazing and I just love it.....makes me want to start saving up for another kit right this minute
  25. Like a kid on christmas and thanks!
