I use a good quality car polish on mine, auto glym .... works a treat , oh and T Cut before the polish if it’s scuffed T cut is a car paint restorer we get in the U.K. , so anything like that should be ok followed up by a good old polish

I think Tapatalk is doing multiple posts tonight.... the same has happened to me.....
To achieve Centurion you need to build a cleared costume first, start a build thread on here and on your local garrison, it’s your local garrison that will provide clearance and at the same time you apply for clearance you also apply for your 501st number...., once your costume is cleared, you can apply for EIB (Expert Infantry Badge) once you have achieved EIB, you can apply for Centurion..... the requirements are detailed in the “advanced tactics “ part of the forum
It’s best to aim for Centurion from the off.... when you start your build, rather than when it’s finished.....
I hope this helps, the guys n gals on here are really helpful, as you go through your build thread ask any questions , someone will have the answer, measure twice, cut once..... as they say.... research, ask questions and listen to the advice given and you will, with patience and dedication, end up with a first class costume.
Good luck to you both in achieving your Centurion armour
Stephen

Wow, that’s looking great Matt, get your garrison clearance, but also apply for your 501st ID now, as the clearance in interlinked to you getting your TKID, then once cleared apply for EIB and then Centurion.....
Your armour looks amazing mate

I’ve just completed my RS armour and achieved Centurion this week. I didn’t alter my kidney notches, left them as RS made them. I had similar problems to you longing the kidney and butt pieces up, however when strapped together it actually fitted much better then when placed on the bench
Make sure the ridge in the back of the kidney and butt line up
This is how the butt / kidney notch looked originally .... please note the kidney and ab are not longed up correctly
And now after being strapped
Hope this helps
Have a look at some RS build threads on here, they should help ... this is my build thread...

The RS PVC is a really bright white white, whereas the ABS is a lovely creamy white.... yes they are different

I guess at the end of the day it comes down to cost (and that’s the accountant in me speaking) .... at the end of the day we all want to dress up as plastic spacemen.... just like we all want to drive a car or ride a motorbike..... our choices are driven by our budget.... yes I would love to buy a Rolls Royce but my budget will only stretch to a Jaguar .... so it’s s jag that I drive....
armour is the same, I’m lucky, I got a good deal on RS Prop Masters armour, but I could not afford a commission so with your help I built it myself....
the thing is , this armour, at a budget price, may enable someone to achieve their dream to own stormtrooper armour at an affordable cost. To some people £800 is as cheap as chips, to others it is way out of their price range, perhaps this guy lets us all become troopers .... whatever our budget .....
Just a thought from a stormtrooper accountant

Fantastic armour, good luck in your EIB application.... “Next centurion think I” said in a yoda kind of way..... well that’s me banned ....lol
Great looking armour

Hi Bawze, welcome to FISD, and you have come to the right place to find about everything stormtrooper.... the pictures of your costumes look amazing, so I’m sure you will make a great job of your stormtrooper armour.
You could be our first member in Slovenia, and to be fair, your command of English puts many of my countrymen in shame .... you are clearly a skilled costume maker.... welcome...

I have the same problem, can’t delete posts on here or edit them, it’s the same on some other forums I use... I guess it’s a Tapatalk issue, however another Tapatalk forum I use does allow edits and deletes .... so I’m confused

Tony, your armour looks amazing, good luck with your application, although I’m sure you don’t need it, it looks perfect
Thanks for your help with mine
