  1. I'm busy on with my thighs and I've lined it up and taped it but I have excess at the top of the thigh. It will be covered by the cover strip so does it really matter or should I trim it?
  2. Finished my thermal detonator this morning. Hopefully get my thighs started and calfs finished this afternoon.
  3. Looks absolutely awesome mate. I just hope mine turns out half as good as yours
  4. I use a sharpened lolly pop stick and the corner piece of fabric and dry e6000 comes straight off no problem. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. One shin trimmed and glued. I would do the other but I have no more magnets. Note if anyone is just starting and reading this, Buy more magnets!! Ha ha Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. I've started my legs this morning, am I right in thinking it's the same principle as the forearms except 20mm cover strips for the shins. I've measured out about 11mm either side for the front of shin. The opposite side I'm not sure it's just my eyes or the bend in the abs but I can't get it 11mm all down the front it's about 15mm at top, 14mm at bottom and 11mm in the center.
  7. Yea they're a bit of a pain in the a very impolite person to clip together once the split rivets are in. I've snapped 2 trying to flatten them and I've misshapen a few of the snaps also. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  8. I was gonna order one of these. I'm assuming they are passible for the 501st Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

  10. I'm having a bit of a mare with the kidney and ab brass rivets. I can't seem to get the poppers to connect because of the rivets sticking up over the poppers. I've tried to adjust 2 and they've snapped. How do I get around this?? As u can see I've snapped one on the abs and on the cod. [LOUDLY CRYING FACE]
  11. Got the back and chest strapped together, now time for the shoulders.
  12. Not a bad morning and got quite a bit done. Butt and kidneys trimmed and sanded ready to strap with the abs this afternoon, buttons are glued on the abs so I'll get them painted as well hopefully should have quite a bit of the torso done by tonight. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  13. Ab buttons cut and glued. Had a bit of a rookie mistake when gluing the ab buttons at first. I forgot to take the cover plastic off the ab plate before sticking it down.
  14. Looking great mate. I may have to send mine across to you so u can build mine mate ha ha Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

  16. Quick question. When I trim the chest I know I keep the returns to about 7-8mm on the bottom but on the sides of the chest do I leave any return? Cheers Kev Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  17. Cheers mate. I'm really chuffed how it turned out. I thought I would start with the lid as I thought it was gonna be the hardest part of the build Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  18. I haven't posted any updates in a while been mainly posting on the uk garrison forum. So here's an update on what I've been doing. Got my biceps and shoulder bells trimmed and glued. I used a sharpened lolly pop sticks for the excess glue on the cover strips which worked a treat. Started gluing my forearms this morning While waiting for the forearms to dry I thought I would start trimming the belt and drop boxes and knee ammo boxes And that's pretty much where I'm upto now. I'm gonna trim my chest and back tonight and get the abs, kidney and butt done tomorrow. Kev
  19. Got all the paint work done on the bucket. Just need to get the mesh on the frown and the mics in tomorrow. Kev C Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  20. Well after a late night last night getting the ears and lid sorted ready for the lenses and painting today I'm happy with how the ears turned out after having to move and re drill because the ear moved up when I fitted it. Original fitting wasn't really happy with the gap. After re drilling and moving I'm happy with it now I got the lenses fitted this morning. And mics painted ready for fitting Kev C Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. Does all that look ok before I put the rivets in? Do I need to take some more off the edges where the ears sit also? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. I made a start on my frown today. Do I need to take any more off or am I good to move onto the ears. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  23. I thought there's no time like the present and started on my bucket. I don't think I've ever been so nervous in my life. Do the eyes look alrite or do I need to take more off around the edges? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
