  1. Ok I've sized the thighs up I've literally took the lips off where it was moulded and this is what I'm left with. Where do I start with the trimming of the right thigh and the cover strip of the left. Right thigh Left thigh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Productive morning so far, wired up my aker and iPhone into my chest plate, painted the brass rivets and another coat onto the ab buttons. Both thigh front cover strips glued and cleaned just need to size and trim the back now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Thats what i wanted to do with mine but the width of the speaker and my chest isn't a good mix ha
  6. Where do the guys that use an aker position it within your armour? I was gonna put mine in the chest plate but it doesn't fit right as i have a big chest. I was thinking about the back plate but don't know if this will muffle the speaker to much. Also i've been hunting for a littler alternative but cant seem to find anything Any help is much appreciated
  7. I've had my doopydoos kit a while but never got round to starting my build. Now I have all the parts needed I'm gonna start my build as I'm also nearly finished my TK build. Kev Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I need to fit mine I'm going down the same route I bought an Aker and using TKVoice on the iPhone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Had a test fit tonight as I've finished all my strapping I'm thinking it looks pretty good apart from the missing thighs ha ha. I need to adjust the left shin a little as the return is digging into my shin. So I'll trim that a little and it will be all good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Cracking work mate. I really wanted mine finished for Halloween but with me ballsing up my thighs ain't gonna happen [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Ok even though I royally knacked my thighs I've cracked on with the top half and shins. Shins are all finished and ready to go [emoji1303] Finished the chest, shoulder bridges and strapping I had a mare with the brass rivets first time also but sussed them second time around. So once I order my new thighs and fit the properly this time I'm done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Spoke to ross and getting some new thighs ordered
  13. New thighs I think mate. I've messaged ross Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. Ok I've sized the thighs back up and I think I've made a major boob first time and I dunno how. As you can see I have about a 2inch gap and the bottom moving upto a 3inch gap at the top. Are these salvageable or are they done. Cheers.
  15. Cheers mate. I'll make the adjustments Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  16. I know. When we sized them on me before I cut (we sized 3times) they felt great taped then once I've cut and glued them they are really tight on my quad, everywhere else is a perfect fit. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  17. My first test fit with thighs and calfs. I have a problem with my thighs being to tight and to low as I can't pull them up any higher as I have really big legs. How do I go about shimming them to make them fit better? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  18. Yea here you go mate. Without the cover strip on its sitting good but once I put a cover strip on its out of line and no mate only external cover strips. This top pic is how it looks with a cover strip on and both joins aligned on the main thigh. Notice it raises the base above. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. I have a bit of an issue with the back of the left thigh. Where I need to put the cover strip looks a bit awkward to do with the join at the base. As you can see it joins great but I'll show you the side view. So you can see my problem, soon as I put the cover strip on the bottom is gonna be misaligned so how do I overcome that?
  20. Made a start on sizing and getting the cover strips on the thighs. Had to tape it when glued because the plastic was bending and pushing the cover strip off.
  21. Don't go for the cut all the way through, use the score and snap technique. I only used an exacto knife for the cover strips I used lexan scissors for everything else. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. I used a hard hat inners for the inside of my bucket. Really comfortable and not really that hard to do. Little bit of a pain getting it in the right place. --------------
  23. Clive has commented on my ukg post and he said it's fine because u won't see it as the cover strip will cover it. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  24. Ah yea ha ha. Never even clicked on about that. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
