Totally your right and to alot of peoplethe sheer amount of qualifications deters people from the 501st but despite the downsides the 501st wouldnt be what it is today without the rules. And i havnt seen the death trooper yet im terrified of spoilers Sent from my MB886 using Tapatalk

Yea the stormtroopers as seen on TV are very specific, and its not arrogance but dedication that leads the 501st to set large amounts of standards. Also yes troopers aren't always the same and often the 501st obliges by adding that specific costume with its own rules to to crl. Like my personal favorite is the TKC which is a non-movie suit and honestly im thankful that the crl has such strict rules to help make sure my suit will be as accurate as possible.
