Yes. It'll work. But I've recently removed mine from my Aker. While it does provide a nice distortion and really adds effect, many people have had a hard time understanding what I'm saying. Probably due to the distortion. It will make the Aker volume knob uber sensitive too. So gently ease it up as you turn it on, or else your ears will be angry with you. Either way - you need an Aker for voice. Being heard is more important.
