  1. Turnaround time is now 2-3 weeks from order. Will continue to update as more orders come in.
  2. What province are you in? May be able to work something out, dealing with Canadian customs is definitely more lax than other (especially european) countries.
  3. Alrighty, got some things wrapped up and already updated the etsy listing to reflect the LED versions. Here's some pictures: LEDs can be controlled by (for the red LEDs) turning their appropriate cap clockwise for ON and counter-clockwise for OFF. Flashlight can be controlled by twisting it clockwise for ON and counter-clockwise for OFF. The flashlight is attached to the silver ring on the front end, which can be pulled out of it's socket in order to access the cap in the rear and swap out the batteries when necessary. LEDs take 1.5v LR41 batteries - each blaster comes with a full set of replacements. The batteries can be swapped by unscrewing each LED's cap and swapping the old ones with new ones. Links to order on my website are here: ------------------ Current turnaround time is (last updated sept 20) 2-3 weeks, will update as orders come in if necessary. US Shipping only, again, please use a shipping forwarding service if you're outside of the US. Also if you'd like to order via paypal you can send the payment to heston3dsolutions@gmail.com (add $15 for shipping) and include your name/shipping address and the variation you are ordering.
  4. Still working that one out, won't be too far from the prices of the current blasters I'm selling at the moment.
  5. Considering doing a short run of perhaps 15 or so to see how interested people are in these.
  6. Would love to see the results if you get it working! I was very impressed with some of the modifications some of my other customers here did on theirs, I know firsthand how hard that stuff can be - it was fairly on the easy side for me since I redesigned some of the parts to house the lights and batteries.
  7. Yep seems to be working now, quite strange.
  8. Finally set aside some time to build a solid working prototype. Any interest?
  9. No plans currently. The market is saturated with people making those so I'm sure you can find someone who does.
  10. 3 no-stock, 1 fixed stock and 2 swappable stock blasters left
  11. They do not, these blasters in particular just feature the faux red lights on the side which are merely stickers meant to look the part.
  12. I do - Send the payment (add $15 for shipping) for the blaster you want to heston3dsolutions@gmail.com via paypal along with your name and shipping address.
  13. Nice build, and holy hell that baton is sweet! Keep your eyes peeled
  14. I haven't exactly drop tested the blasters but I would never recommend doing so if you can help it. A bump is a broad term but i'm sure it'd be fine in most cases.
  15. 4 no-stock, 3 fixed stocks and 3 swappable stocks left. Edited to update remaining stock.
  16. Your blaster will be shipping monday, also will be refunding the $15 difference on your order since I am running a sale this weekend on my blasters and didn't want you to miss out on that.
  17. The last F-11D run I did was pretty insane, I shipped about 3x the amount of blasters which I had originally expected to be the upper limit. By far the biggest complaint was the wait/lead time on the blasters. I believe to date I might actually be the only seller to ever deliver 100% on an F-11D run here... kind of wild. Well I have ramped up my production like crazy and have put together a nice batch of 15 blasters for y'all. I have five of each different variation - Non stock version, Permanent/fixed stock version, Swappable stock version. This is mostly a test run as I'm curious as to which variation is in higher demand, so I'll know where to focus my efforts. Just to be clear the first 5 blasters of each variation will have NO LEAD TIME and will ship next business day with USPS Priority Mail. After the blasters are sold out, orders will go back into pre-order mode and there will be a quicker 2-4 week lead time for the first 15-20 orders after that. I have scaled my production capacity quite a bit so the 2-4 week lead time is a far cry from the original 8-12 week lead time on the first run I did. I should also mention that I have set the blasters stock counts to reflect the in-stock count on the item pages. So however many are left in stock on the page are however many are left in stock and get the next business day shipping. No stock Version -------------( $174.99 ) Fixed Stock Version - -----------( $199.99 ) Swappable Stock Version (with alternate end cap) -------------( $214.99 ) I made some improvements to this version over the prior runs. The blasters now feature the faux red LEDs (not actual LEDs, they're stickers) in their appropriate places. I thought this was a great touch to one that I tested it with and have decided to include it in all future orders. Also one of the biggest complaints as well was with the swappable stock version, many customers reported that their stocks wouldn't be seated properly in the rear of the blaster and wiggle loose too easily. I have since fixed this issue with all these blasters and all future orders. I will only ship to the United States directly, sorry everyone else. If you are outside of the US and are interested in buying one of my blasters, you can use a shipping forwarding service but keep in mind that I am not responsible if the blaster is damaged or seized during transit from the shipping forwarder to your location. Please know your local laws regarding props before attempting to do this. Here's some pictures of the batch all lined up nice and pretty together: http://i.imgur.com/NG7Zjr9l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/LNxaXNsl.jpg Also if you have any questions about my business, feel free to check out my etsy store reviews:-------------- And if you have already placed an order with me for a blaster that's open right now either on etsy or my site, it will be shipping on Monday.
  18. Thanks! You'll actually be getting your blaster shipped quite a bit sooner as I've been preparing for an in-stock run which will hopefully be up here on the FISD within the week.
  19. Played around with some red coloring in place of the LED'd areas. Think it suits it decently well.
  20. Hit the nail on the head here. When I print labels that is a heavy indication that your order is very close to completion, and that's just getting everything finalized for shipping etc. I want to publicly apologize though for being so lacking on the communication. It's been a constant struggle between spending my time out in the office or garage working on these orders and spending time in front of the computer has become very rare for me now. I'm not sure if it's been clear or not but I am the only person working on this business, and 90% of my waking hours are spent working on these orders. They're all painted and assembled by hand by me, so they have a pretty personal and handmade touch to each of them that requires a lot of time and effort to conjure up. So every time I have to respond to a message, that takes time away from time I could be spending working on an order, so obviously you can see the struggle there... A majority of the orders have been fulfilled as of now. I have parts for the rest of the blasters remaining scattered all over my desk and office, and it's really just a matter of getting them cleaned/painted/assembled now. I don't care to explain why there was a delay honestly because I think you guys are sick of hearing excuses, and I have focused my time on getting these orders out rather than explaining why 3 out of my 9 printers have crapped out on me or why I had to pick up and move everything at the end of march etc. etc. Excuses are lame as sh!t and you guys deserve better than that, so my energy is instead spent entirely on completing your orders you have waited so long for. For those still waiting on their orders, you should expect them to ship within the next 14-21 days. Big thanks to the people who posted here with their blasters and their news that they received them and otherwise keeping everyone in the loop on what they got, I haven't been able to read every post on this thread but I've been able to see a few at least when I have had time. I'm not sure if Germain posted his blaster or not but the pictures he sent me of his brother trooping with his TFA armor with the blaster were seriously awesome, hopefully he shared them here too. I think you'll find your blaster to be well worth the wait, as quite a few here have expressed. Anyways, back to work I go.
  21. I have to give serious applause to OP. The blasters in their current form are definitely not made to house electronics, so I can't imagine the amount of work he put into modifying it for this. Thanks for sharing it with everyone else, too. Bravo!!
  22. Just an update on shipping since I've been extremely inundated with messages and emails asking for ETAs on their orders. As some of you know there was a filament shortage with my provider throughout most of the months of february and january. The shortage is no longer a problem now and it's pedal to the metal with production. Pretty much all of the pre-run 501st orders on Etsy have been shipped (with exception of a couple that wanted some custom things) and I've started shipping the initial orders on the run. I have about 70 orders to ship in total, between Etsy orders and the orders on my shop and paypal. I am working 100+ hours a week to fulfill these as fast as I possibly can, believe me when I say that all of your orders are my number one priority and I am working very hard to ensure that you love your blasters and will want to troop everywhere with them once you get them. It's nearly impossible for me to respond to everyone's inquiry on an ETA since I have to go down the production schedule every time to come up with a date for them which constantly changes due to variables that are often times out of my control. Bottom line is: Most if not all orders will be shipped in the next coming weeks and all should be shipped prior to mid-april. I shipped out 10 just a couple days ago, working on another batch which should be out next monday for the 501st run orders. If you have any non-ETA related questions, feel free to send them to the contact form on the website or PM me here, but I can't respond to any ETA questions at the moment. Way too many of them and with stuff changing all the time I'm not entirely confident in my ability to produce an accurate ETA for a single specific order in the first place. I love you guys a lot, I'd never thought I'd have this many orders to work on in such a short period of time - your patience means everything to me! I think you'll absolutely love the blasters once you receive them. The people who have received theirs from the Etsy orders sure seem to love them, anyways. You'll get a notification with tracking info and everything once your order does ship - all orders are going out with USPS Priority Mail so it should only take about 2 business days once it does ship to get to ya. If I have any updates on shipping in the future, I'll be sure to post them here. Thanks again for your patience!
  23. USPS can be awful sometimes, sorry you had to go through that. Hopefully the $75 refund helped you out.
