Someone please tell me if this is a bad idea?

So I am looking to do my 1st build. The issue is that I want to start slow and ease into it to build confidence. I thought about starting with a helmet build 1st. What do you guys think about the anovos helmet kits? Will it match up correctly to the AM 2.0 armor I will order later? <br>

Also would I be waiting forever for it to arrive?

[Looking for AM 2.0 helmet kits]

Any suggestions for helmet kits? I want to start with the helmet 1st. I have someone who makes kits but he is behind on production and might be a long wait. Didn't know of any other reliable sources.

Ok please do not get offended but I need help understanding the difference between ANH, ESB, and ROTJ helmets. I understand that there are some differences in the helmet /armor from each movie but can someone help explain or guideven me in the right direction. I guess I need to know which helmet I am building 1st correct?

So I have done my research but here is a thought I had and wanted advice. I have found a vetted kit maker that I think I'm going to with.<br>

My thought is to start with ordering and building the helmet 1st. It seems that the whole armor kit seems a bit overwhelming (financially overwhelming too)for a newbie. Maybe with just focusing on the helmet I can take it slow and build confidence. Any thoughts?

Hey guys, My name is Phil. I'm 42yrs old and have been a loyal SW fan since I was 5. I am an elementary school teacher and father who really wants to join the 501st. Imy not sure if the is a garrison in east TN or not. (Looks like this link to that garrison is not working?) Anyway I have a question about armor:<br>

I have done some research and found a vetted 501st kit maker who sells kits for $650 which seems like a good price. Also I have noticed that Avonos has kits for $650 also plus their kits come with holster,gloves,neck seal, body tight etc. I'm worried about assembly, painting the helmet, etc. <br>

I need some opinions here. Will the avonos kits meet 501st requirements?<br>
