I would cover it while fully assembled, because it fills in the cracks. Apply the Resin, sand it, then add some black spray paint to it and it will turn out fine.

Its okay, you glue the inside piece to connect the shoulder and back, then you melt acetone into the crack and sand and smooth out the pieces.

What I did was copy exactly what tony did. He has a build thread that is going to be your reference guide. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31877-Ukswrath%27s-FOTK-build-thread-%28TK-10116%29

If #3 & #10 are sunk in, then those are the pieces that are to be painted black, they are backside pieces that rest on belt.
-
#9 might be the piece that stacks on #12

Also melt some ABS into jar with Acetone. Then paintbrush it into the seams to make seamless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I glued by whole ABS kit with 401 loctite. That stuff is so strong it makes your eyes water, also blends plastic permanently. ---------- LOCTITE Instant Adhesive Cyanoacrylate Super Glue

The yoke will push out the chest piece to far, but he has currently updated that mold to fix that problem. You should join his facebook build page. Lots of good help on there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There are so many pieces on the first order TK that I had to make seamless, it was a learning curve, but when you master melting, any ABS is fixable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Those little gray spots will not keep you from getting approved, trust me you will get lots of armor scratches over time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Took me a while to find your build thread, after looking, this is either a thin section of the plastic or a stain. My first thing to try is sanding, painting wont help because it will wear off over time. if that sanding doesnt work, then there is an extreme way to fix it, collect some leftover scraps from your build(never throw away your scraps) you can always melt them to fix anything. So get a jar, and cut the plastic abs into small little pieces in a jam jar. Make sure it has a lid. Poor enough acetone to barely cover the pile. Then after 4 hours you will have a toothpaste thickness for paste. Take a brush and dip in the jar and paint a thin layer over spot. It hardens within seconds. Then sand it flat and too higher grits to make it shiny again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
