  1. Ok I just remembered that they actually showed some of the raw parts from the factory. Kind of like a sneek peek in one of the news letters. Clearly it's the "sharper lines" version and nothing like the prototype. Clearly it's the "sharper lines" version pictured in the Instagram post and not anything like the prototype on the website. Here are some additional pics of the armor too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yes I do realize it said prototype. I was still surprised that there would be that much a of a departure from the prototype. I'm very new to all this so maybe that is par for the course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Once again I'm dubious that the Anovos is sharp. Here is pic from their website This is a pic from Instagram where the person says its Anovos he got for review on tested.com. This is a HUGE difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. So just to be clear we are speaking about the classic TK bucket in the picture and not the FO bucket. Correct? As I said before that bucket really looks nothing like the bucket pictured on their website. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Wow that looks way different than the pics on their website. I like it better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The eyes look way different compared to the prototype. Now that I see the difference I think I like the sharper lines better. Is that considered more desirable for screen accuracy? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The Anovos pictures of the prototype are lopsided. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I thought those were still prototype. I'll take a look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm curious when we might see a built Anovos kit. I would think we would see one built by Anovos first before it gets to customers. Right now we are still looking at the prototype pics right? I would have thought they would have grabbed one off the line to show us the goods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hmmm. I wondered the same thing. Just what I read. Seemed a good source but that may have been assumed. Still if it were then cast, you would have tons of finishing work to get the details. So if total cost was $8-$10k built you are getting unbuilt for $2k. Yeah it's a lot of money for a costume isn't it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Your right it is plastic so material cost is the same. The cost comes in at having to make MANY more pieces. Also the molds are much more complicated. More detail in the sculpts that requires more work to get goods vacs. The screen used suits were 3D printed and estimated cost was $8k - $10k. I don't know if that estimate includes all the labor to assemble or not, but one could imagine the final products bring well over $10k with labor and all. Lastly lets face it your paying for the newest thing and the limited production at this point too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Anovos is taking orders for classic TK but not the "new" TK, or TFA TK, or First Order TK. Which ever you want to call it. I thought he was asking about that but maybe he meant "new orders"? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No preorders for the new armor available right now from Anovos. You can look for a private builder in these threads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Here are some back pics of Anovos armor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I just ordered boots and gloves from him yesterday. Email him and ask. He may have your size. Curious where did you source your blaster? I need one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Ive seen an RS that was done as a shadow trooper. It was beautiful. Complete commission done by RS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. If you're looking for a real www or something akin to an actual full scale company. Then your best, and maybe only, bet is to get on the Anovos.com mailing list and wait until they release theirs. It's going to be probably $1,800 to 2,500 without boots or blaster. Your other option is to look for a private maker who has been vetted or has great reputation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The above pictured armor is an earlier version of Jims kits I believe. If you look through his entire build thread you'll start to see where he made improvements. Here are a few things to note: 1. Butt plate is way off. Cod piece too though I don't know if he has changed that. 2. Spats 3. Clips on helmet. He made those lower profile in later versions. 4. "Widows peek" in calf pieces Here are some pics of both screen used and Anovos to compare with: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. That looks pretty far off the mark if you're looking to get 501st approval or want to be screen accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Can you screen capture it. Don't have access to that forum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Could have sworn I heard a TK designation. I'm about to watch for second time. I'll confirm. Watching previews now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I didn't realize that Anovos did ROTJ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. My bad THAT IS tier 1 pricing $8,500 for statue $679 for helmet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Ok who got this email from Anovos and what do you think? Pricing? No tier 1 offerings straight to preorder? Statue before public offering of amor for wear? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
