TK-57996 requesting EI Status ESB (AP) [808]
Calimero replied to Calimero's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hi all, I just updated my original post with new pictures that detailed the modifications that I made to answer the comments. The new pictures are: - Front - Back - Sides (arms up & down) - Action shots - Side rivets detailed - Cod rivet with paint removed. I left the old picture that shows the end of the butt piece because the new picture only shows the cod piece rivet. Thanks Dominic. -

I removed the black elastic band between the forearms and the biceps and the shoulder got into place. I guess the elastic was too short and was pulling the whole arm pieces down. The new pictures will come soon. Sent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk -

TK-57996 requesting EI Status ESB (AP) [808]

The shins have been corrected. They now close the outside over the inside. The pain have been removed from the rivet of the cod piece. I'll see what I can do with the shoulder bells. Any suggestions on a way to fix them? After this fix, I should be good to post a new set of pictures. Thanks Dominic. -

I just corrected the belt. The drop box were about 1/2" inside, i moved them back and glued them. Here's the picture. Time to correct the shins now. -

I will invert the shins. The drop box are aligned with the end of the belt but have weights in them to make them more stable when I walk. I'll move them a bit. Sent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk -

Hi, I saw a discussion in the thread "EIB requirement" that talked about the elastic (or strap) that goes on the shoulder bell and holds the bicep in place and I wish to have some clarification on this. I went back to the CRL and I don't see any straps on the shoulder bell that could connect to the bicep on the picture and it's not mentioned. The picture below taken from ep. V also doesn't show any straps. I (as a lot of people I guess), built my ESB trooper from a ANH kit and did some modifications to bring it to the ESB standards but that detail eluded me until now. Searching the EIB forum for other ESB troopers, I saw that some member got EIB approved with the strap that is visible. I wish to bring my armor up to centurion level in time so the big question is, should I remove the elastic strap right now or should/can I keep it? Thanks Dominic.

Hey all, I've been looking to do some voluntary work for quite some time now. Tried a few places but I was never feeling home...until I find you guys. I read a newsletter a few years back that was detailing the visit of group of Stormtroopers to a little kid with cancer. That (and my love for Star Wars) convinced me that this was what I wanted to do. But now, which costume to choose? After speaking with some members in the comiccons, I chose the ESB Stormtrooper. Mainly because I love the movie but also because the holster is on the right side. When the Big Brown Box arrived, I was so excited but where to start? and how to avoid the usual newbies stupid mistakes? VERY BIG THANKS TO UKSWRATH for the following post that was oh so precious. Now, I'm approved, my first troop was priceless seeing the smiles of the kids approaching...because once they were inches from me, I could not see them anymore because of the helmet Thanks to the guys of the Foretesse Imperiale in Quebec for helping me finish the armor and you all for welcoming me in this big family where I already feel at home. Dominic aka TK57996.

I have a question about the picture "Rough Belt Measurements" which gives the placements of the snaps on the abs plate. If the belt is supposed to be centered on the body, why are the snaps at 28 on the left and 59mm on the right? Why not put 43mm each side (more or less in order for the snaps to be at the right place on the belt) ? -

Since Photobucket is crappy, I'm trying dropbox for photo sharing. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2ygf4qn2kmls71b/TutTrooper.jpg?dl=0 Or Google photo https://goo.gl/photos/hv6YkG8XSDJ8yJc36 -

Since I didn't yet receive my magnets, I'm hesitant to start gluing stuff right now so I started with the bucket. I still have to paint the ears & screw, put the green lense and screen behind the frown and finally, the S trim. I'm aiming to build it to bring it to centurion level so all comments are welcome. For a reason that I can't explain (now but I'll work the that later), I can't add the pictures from my Google Photos account so here are the links: Stay tuned for more in the next episode. Thanks Dominic. -
I got my big brown box yesterday. Right now, it looks like that but the view should improve in the next few weeks. (I stole some space on my wife's sewing table). Stay tuned for more pictures in the next episode. Dominic.

Hi (noob here), Please correct me if I'm wrong but I read on different posts that, to convert a E-11 blaster from ANH to ESB, all you have to do is remove the counter and power cylinder. What about the scope? I read that both M-38 and M-19 scope were accepted but the M-19 was preferred. If I want to bring my (future) armor up to centurion level, can this be an issue if I have the M-38 scope mounted on the blaster? Thanks. Sent from my XT1563 using Tapatalk

I should receive my kit from AP around Christmas and I plan to convert it from ANH to ESB. I could send you mine if you're not in a hurry. Sent from my XT1563 using Tapatalk
