  1. Yes, I have! Big fan of Christina's work too, for those interested check out what this Lady of the Legion did with her E-11: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/36185-anh-e-11-blaster-modification-of-the-quest-design-canada-blaster/?fromsearch=1
  2. After a quick break down I salvaged the lenses, and they are a beautiful match. There will be some drilling out required to make the lenses fit (inset) but should be a nice addition to add to the magic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. With the glue curing, I started looking into different areas of the blaster where I could add some more authenticity, without breaking the bank and avoiding the horrible exchange rate. Eye balling the scope for a few minutes, I remembered I had a pair of Bushnell mini binoculars from my army days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I thought the same thing mate! A spring to allow some flex, when the blaster is holstered, would be brilliant! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. For those interested, the new bolt charging handle that was printed was courtesy of our own 3D print files available here in the FISD. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/33966-free-3d-printed-parts-for-e11-builds/?fromsearch=1 Big time thanks to Thrawn's guard! 6. Then with some more fine tuning and filing, I dry fit the new charging handle into place so it will be ready to be anchored into place. I also left a small nub on the bolt charging handle - again to provide more surface area for bonding.
  7. Next was to remove the old handle GENTLY using a 24T hack saw blade and a pair of needle nose pliers. I then used micro files to remove any leftovers, and score the resin area so the glue would have more to adhere to.
  8. A little TKLC with some sand paper and the handle was ready to be cut down using a pipe cutter and hand filed into it's new home.
  9. So after a few troops, I encountered a small notorious problem with my blaster. I snapped my charging bolt handle off jumping down from a stage. So in order to get this bad boy up and rocking again, I got one of my fellow Garrison mates to 3D print me a couple new handles as a replacement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Let's set the tone shall we? https://youtu.be/0J2QdDbelmY Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wicked progress on that ammo pack Marc - keep rocking it brother! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Always great to see one of our legends! I tried to track down the proper rivets here in Canada as well, for two months, but to no avail so had to make do with what I could get here on the FISD. Vader bless you for your stellar diagrams good sir, as they were an asset to my build!
  13. Alright my friends, I must apologize - due to a shortage on funds and available parts I haven't been able to progress through this thread the way I had intended to. I wanted to complete my ab section with a new properly cut ab button plate. So instead I will begin showing my work to bring my QuestDesignCanda blaster up to standard. Progress will be posted soon! 14. Try using a rubber mat, or a silicone oven mit on the corner of a wooden table. Then use a small size hammer and the back end of a larger size drill bit (round portion) to gradually open the centre of the split rivet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Always great to see your updates mate! Temporary Velcro is also a good way to help fit your internal strapping [emoji106][emoji6]. The best way to do it is get help from a fellow trooper if you can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Great to see you still continuing to give good advice and encouragement to the future troopers Angie! It's absolutely awesome to look back at this journey and see how far you've come. Keep it up Lady of the Legion - fist bump - Whooo-wahhh!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Always great to hear from ya mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Awwwww yaaaaa!!![emoji38][emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Awesome job as always mates - thanks for another awesome newsletter!!?
  20. When you need more pull force you can double up the smaller ones [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. All good brother! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I'm going to post my work on the blaster here, once it's been approved by the bosses then I will do a mod thread for future troopers. No sense in writing all that stuff up if its not going to be approved as I don't want to misdirect anyone [emoji106][emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Stellar deadly progress mate! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I also will be making some modifications to the back counter to make it a little more realistic as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Jumping the blaster a bit but here is pics of my current blaster my friends - all of it meets the CRL requirements - however the back sight/range finder is mounted backwards which will need some bonding and filing to make it accurate. I intend to add glass sights and clean up some of the rough spots. I will also be weathering it to add to the magic. (M-38 printed on the top of the scope) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
