  1. I managed to figure it out myself and the fit was good! It seems like I might need to trim the backs of my thighs... thoughts? \m/
  2. Put everything on and noticed a problem....it seems like the right side of my chest is pulling up making me look a bit crooked. \m/
  3. That would be awesome. I'll take a picture of the bolt that came with the set.The trigger group has 3 settings.
  4. Next up I attached the Trigger housing. I used Tinos existing screw holes in the pipe and also the Resin bolt to secure it. I drilled a new hole the Sterling part corresponding to the location in the resin piece This was more than enough to secure it firmly. Next up is the folding stock... \m/
  5. Next up was brainstorming how to attach the Steel Sterling parts to the Aluminum pipe. I ended up going with JB Weld. The parts that will be attached using this method are the following: 1) Front/muzzle 2) Back/rear sight 3) magazine holder 4) Folding stock hinge. Here are some progress pics: I really globbed on the JB Weld as I knew I would be sanding it flush later. Because I made sure to match my cuts on the Sterling parts and aluminum pipe I was able to use gravity to my advantage when letting the JB Weld cure Muzzle and rear site cured: Sanded: \m/
  6. Tearing down Tinos beautiful E-11 was a little devastating. Originally I wouldn't have even considered it, but the blaster broke so it gave me an excuse to go crazy. [emoji38] I needed to cut the Aluminum pipe to match the cuts on the Sterling parts and that turned out to be quite a task. Here is the pipe cut showing where the T-tracks were sitting. After the pipe was cut I used a grinder with my dremel to match the angles of the cuts. \m/
  7. I went ahead and purchased a Sterling parts kit from Apex gun parts: The condition of a few of the pieces were poor. Folding stock in particular. My garrison buddy ukswrath offered to help me straighten out and grind down the pieces. Next up is deconstruction of the Aluminum pipe! \m/
  8. Building this E-11 has most certainly been the most challenging build project I have attempted. I'm not done yet, but I'll start with my progress thus far. I was graced with a Phoenix Props ESB E-11 from a fellow Garrison member that was originally built by Tino. It was beautiful! Tina did amazingly. ----------- It was already beautiful to begin with, but unfortunately the folding stock and a few other small pieces broke very soon after I received it. I was bummed, but after it happened u decided to go full bore on this build. So, the plan was to incorporate as much from a real Sterling as possible, and also add electronics using Arduino. This build will be in two stages: 1) Reconstruction of the blaster with Sterling components 2) Arduino additions \m/
  9. Alright! I'm taking submission photos a bit later today. I have a "test troop" tonight and will post plenty of photos. Before that, here is how the infamous ESB sewed handguards turned out. Originally I had drilled holes far too big and far apart. Thankfully my hands are very small so I was able to trim away the holes and start over. Here is the second try: And after sewing...: Gloves are snug as a bug and pretty comfy! I'm also able to use my phone while wearing them haha My E-11 is also coming along, but that has been so intensive that I decided to start a seperate thread for it over in the ESB E-11 forum. \m/
  10. Arm selfie! Here is the clamshell. I'll post more detailed pics soon of the inside and details. I still have to connect the white elastic shoulder straps to complete it. \m/
  11. Arm strapping done! I've read some debate on the bicep strap for ESB...is there a consensus on this? I've got a ton more pics to post as I near completion. I'll try to get them up quicker! \m/
  12. I just made mine from leftover cover strip material meant for the back of the shins. Did a test fit and it worked great! \m/

  16. Test fit! I'm aware of the problems here as most are because I haven't completed alot of the strapping. Thighs fell a bit because they have no support and the shoulder bells were literally hanging on by a thread, but everything is looking pretty good so far. I'm plucking away at the strapping now I'll be done with the sewing today for the shoulders, and then I'll move on to the handplates and the remaining snaps I need to install. \m/
  17. Had an awesome day and made alot of progress at the build party. Our main focus was to work on the core armor pieces. I'm using the screen accurate MrNostripes bracket system coupled with a few wearability modifications suggested by Haribon72. Thanks Walter for hosting! Working on the split rivets. We added some extra abs as support and some elastic that will ensure these pieces stay exactly where they need to be. We also finished up the belt. Also made some snap straps for under the shoulder bridges. They'll be snapped in front and glued on the backside to the back plate. Last but not least, we sized up the Hanguards to my fists. We didn't get to sewing them on the gloves yet, but everything is ready to go when I'm able to using Walter's template. \m/
  18. Been making alot of (slow) progress lately. I have all of the front cover strips down, and will be doing everything I can to have the whole thing done by May 4th! The armor build day I have coming up on April 24th will certainly help with that! I'll be sure to post tons of pictures from that.
  19. Hey there! I just purchased everything needed for an Arduino blaster and just received the Arduino board in the mail today. Thing is, I'm going for an ESB, so I won't be needing (or have the space for) the counter, ammo, reload, green LEDs or even any additional sounds other than Blast & Stun. I want the quality of sound that Arduino delivers without the "extras"essentially. Seeing as how I am a total novice at this, I was wondering if someone might be able to modify the code to allow for the following?: - On switch with sound - Standard E-11 blast with red LED - Stun blast with blue LED - switch (to switch between stun and blaster) sound with sound. That's it! Any help would be greatly appreciated! All of this will be going into a Blaster build using an aluminum pipe with real Sterling parts attached.
