  1. It's a guy from my neighborhood in Emmaus that's about 5 years younger than us. It's funny how his face lit up when I told him I was going to make Stormtrooper armor. Right now I'm still working on building a blaster from scratch and collecting tools. This is a good excuse to finally buy a Dremel! Chris
  2. Great post, but the image links are broken. I found your scratch build on a post at MEPD.net and decided to search for you on this forum. Here is the link to your instruction for scratch building a Hengstle Counter for people who found this post with no pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/stukatrooper/sets/72157604574695630/ Thanks, Chris
  3. This post sent me down the rabbit hole around the internet and then I ended up seeing this and my life will never be the same. -----------
  4. Also, I've seen the blonde guy with curly hair in two images now. Anyone know who he is? He's in the picture next to the port-a-potty and the image of him only wearing the leg armor. Chris
  5. Yes... I usually can't sit through 10 minute YouTube videos, but this one had me captivated the whole time. This video actually got me thinking that one of my best friends from high school mentioned that he was thinking about building Stormtrooper armor. Turns out he's on this forum and made one over a year ago. He's the one that let me know about FISD! Now I'm hooked! Chris
  6. This is getting me excited and just talked with one of my friends on New Year's Eve about it and he said building Stormtrooper armor has always been a dream of his. Just emailed him this website so we may be making armor at the same time. Chris
  7. Another Stormtrooper on set with his helmet off. This is from the filming of the special edition. --------------
  8. I found a bunch without helmets on set, but I would like to find more in various stages of putting the armor on. ---------------
  9. Looks like ROTJ. And I'm assuming the guy sitting down is a prop master and not a Stormtrooper, but I may be wrong. Wish there was more information on the twitter page I found this image on. (On second look, maybe the guy sitting down does have armor on his legs.) Chris
  10. I've seen a lot of images of the Stormtroopers as stills from the movies for reference. I was wondering if anyone has any more images of the actors in partial armor? It would be interesting to see and maybe good reference on how to build your suit piece by piece. I found the attached image on Twitter. A link to that Twitter post: ------------------- Thanks, Chris
  11. Probably starting with creating a blaster from scratch first.
