I had the same problem with my Bass boots; I dont know how many times I put the boots on first and then had to take them off again to get the stirrups on! Great idea with the snaps; wonder if you can somehow attach the stirrup to the inside of the boot; I would still forget I guess and put the boot on first without the stirrup under my foot!
Finally got me a pair of TK boots; world of difference!

Awesome build! Looks great. While the above threads on the election were entertaining, it's good to look at some armor again!
-
Great progress! Extra hole on the kidney though?
-
Really nice- great job!

You rocked it- great job! Bum deal about the thighs; will let others chime in if you need the shins to match, but prob not. I had the same problem on the kidney, ab, with them not lining up together on the top. I added a tight strap to keep them level.
Good luck!

Awesome- please stop posting I cant bear to even now pick up my Hasbro! Can't wait for my DVH kit to come in!

Great job! Awesome feeling for sure. You could bring your thighs up a bit is all I saw at first look, but should be an easy TK# for you!
-
I think the boots look great! Good job on the preparation and the getting busy with ordering everything! I must admit I had to click to see why your TK stunk, especially after the PVC thigh thread.

ABS paste has met it's match! Wow, very scary. Time to sell that kit to someone really, really short where they do some serious trimming.

Beautiful! Ditto here thought it was a real scope upgrade.

Thanks for the laugh on a Friday! That was good stuff. It's a hero version as well!

Best to cut the notch in the shim and do any bending of the shim first before you attach it to the kidney. The paste weld can give with some pressure, and you lose all of your hard work that you did sanding!
-
Looking great! Lucky man with the sides- I agree looks like no need to shim! You should be able to tighten up that super small gap with the strapping.
I did not cut my ab/cod either, but have yet to have the need to go to the bathroom while trooping, so this mod may come if ever I have a bad experience!

I was curious about that hole as well, but was thinking venting too. Could not see it from the pic of the back, but it will be close. Good call.
