  1. HWT's

I made some changes to my HWT Pack. After looking at the screengrabs and all the material we have to base our packs on I decided to remove the antennae, close in the front of the handle, and add some side detail. I like the look of the antennae and it gives a cool profile to the pack when trooping but I wanted to try and get it closer to the game. Take a look and give me your thoughts. I hope the new BattleFronts has an awesome HWT we can build off of!

  2. Tony,

I took an old costume shop rubies, tore it apart, drilled out the frown, cut out the bubble lenses and added internal lenses, and then rebuilt it adding two raisen jar lids that are bolted in. Check my TK build thread I think I threw in some pics.

  3. Hey Charles when's this going to happen?

    Tony,

I am waiting till I have the Fireteam patch in hand before I pull the trigger on this run. Should be any day now the Fireteam was ordered weeks ago. I would say these patches will be out to production within about two weeks. Since I "donate" 100% of the production cost so all sales can go to the charity I want to make sure the product looks awesome!

Awesome like my Heavy Weapons Mickey Trooper!!!!

  4. Sure guys. I will let you all know as soon as they get back from production. I will not post the sale thread until I have them in hand. We did a similar run here in GA for our Fireteam Terminus with 100% going to an animal shelter. I ate the production cost on this one also. We do it for the cause. Bad guys doing good and all that stuff!!!     Check out this sweet patch!!

  5. Hey HWT's,

An artist here in my Georgia Garrison has designed a pretty cool patch for us Heavy Weapon Troopers. I am going to do a very limited run with no FISD or 501st logos attached for a local animal shelter charity. The run will be limited to 25 patches and I will offer them to you guys first. I am going to eat the whole cost of production, then sell them for about $15 with 100% going to the shelter. Pretty pricey but for a great cause. Details to come later and I will have a second version with the FISD and 501st logos that I will submitt to the Detachement and Garrison for approval and a large run if people are interested.

This run will just be for the shelter and us. When they sell I will present the check to the shelter on behalf of the FISD and 501st even though it is an unofficial limited run.

    Here it is.

  6. Well this was a happy find. I just got my new darker lens strip in and was wanting to switch out the strip that came with my AP bucket because you could see my eyes in the right light. After reading through your posts I went with the TKBondservnt 2392 method. Took me about 10 minutes, I left a nice vent space below the eye for air flow and you can't see it at all. The screws hold it in nice and tight and after a nice trim of the lens I have the exact amount of room as before.

Thanks to you all for the great options and discussion. Really helped me knock this project out.

  7. Question guys. When I applied for HWT with my Garrison the GML said my pack did not meet the main picture of the trooper in the CRL. I explained that the new pack is down in the details section and after looking at that pack he approved my pack. Are you guys planning on changing that picture? I think the top pack is all Sandy Pack. You have a couple of Centurion HWT's with some good application shots to choose from.

  8. I had the same problem. I removed it, used a warm water bath to make the plate soft then pinched in the sides and let it cool. When I reglued it the edges were closer to the front allowing the sniper knee to protrud forward more and it stopped snagging. It still looks good and you would never know it was pinched inward.
