Over a year away but if any of you plan on going let's try to get as many HWT's we can together for a group patrol and photo. I know one guy who lives right around the corner from there so there will be at least two of us. Book your rooms and pack your packs. We are going on HWT patrol in Orlando 2017!!

Well I am going to do another pack. This one will be smaller and I am going to try and get it close to the screen shots from the game I hope. I will post pics soon as I am diving into the build today!

Welcome aboard and looking forward to seeing your completed build!!
TK!! There is no substitute!!!

Well it took a lot of adjustments and I had to rework the ab kidney connection but I did it and it paid off. I have been approved Centurion level Death Trooper!!! I am very excited and it feels good to reach that level with my build. You can see the application here if you are interested:
Thanks guys!!

I got some really good feedback from the FISD staff regarding my build. I will be making the upgrades and posting the pictures as I complete them. I must say I really like the input from the FISD staff. Their goal is to get the armor to the standards required and their attention to detail is amazing. Thanks and here are the first few photos. More to come!!

Is there a Heavy Weapons Death Trooper out there.......may have just thought of a new build!

Thanks guys. Always fun to work on armor. And always fun to Death Troop!!

OK I put in a few hours and got the side shim spacer corrected. I am happy with the way it turned out and it is nice to know it is correctly assembled now. I had overlooked that shim since I was so busy concentrating on making it look nasty!! Here is the fix procedure and final result:

Welcome aboard! Take your time and pick the armor that calls to you. Plenty of advice and "How To's" on our boards and people are always willing to help. If your ever in doubt always go with a TK!

Welcome aboard and as the Florida guys have said you are in one of the best locations for trooping and getting expert advice. The Florida Garrison has always treated me as family when I head south to troop with them. Good luck on your build!!!

Review team also pointed out my shims on the side were done incorrectly. Nothing gets by these guys. Here is my plan to fix this and re-submit!

Per EIB review I made some changes to some shims for Centurion Application!!

Hey Charles, any chance we can get a clear close up shot of your right hand side (Back to Ab plate join).
It is a little unclear weather you have shimmed and not filled the second seam with ABS paste or it is just the distressing and weathering that makes it look like two seams.
Words as per Centurion Death Trooper CRL
There is no open gap between the ab and kidney armor, just a single visible seam line.
Thanks in advance.
Taking a closer look you are correct. The armor was shimmed from behind so it needs to be filled in with ABS and then one seam completely smoothed over with ABS paste to give the illusion of one seam line. Check the attached photo below. I will knock that out and re-paint the section and get a picture back to you.

Sure thing sir!
Let me look and see if I already have one, if not I will of course take a shot. Thanks for looking!!
