  1. Thanks, I know that the majority of the troopers are ANH, that's why I chose ESB. Trying to bolster the middle child's ranks..
  2. TK-77477 (EIB) reporting for duty, SIr.
  3. Thank You for the recommendations. I will try to apply them in the near future. I was under the impression that (TK armor) was a updated version of NE, Thanks for the clarification. It is my great pleasure to join the EIB family. I noticed that my EIB tag states ANH, It should be ESB. Thank you again Sean
  4. Also, I looked and the left shin was facing outwards. I flipped it around and is now opening to the inside. I'll post a corrected picture of it later on.
  5. Yeah it's a Vader backpack. I found it at a store on sale and the kids love it. They don't notice it until I have passed and they look back at me and The Boss is looking back at them.
  6. Thanks guys. I think the left shin opens facing out. I'll have to look when I get home.

  9. Once I get all the pictures required I'll make a thread.
  10. Yea I can adjust the shoulder straps. And moving the drop boxes would not be a problem.
  11. well Eric (Tolo) now you have gotten my attention... do you notice anything that would have to be changed. Or should I go ahead and try for EIB
  12. I've thought about EIB.
  13. Last Friday I recieved the best news. My armor was accepted, I am just waiting to hear if my first choice in number has been approved!!!!! I just need to remember that my holster goes on the right side....
  14. i have fixed the chest piece and about the shins my calf muscles are bigger the some peoples thighs. I am thinking of using a heat gun to make it more form fitting. i will post a more updated picture of the full set.
  15. My lower legs all set to go. I may need to adjust them a little.
  16. The belt assembly all ready to go. I'll rivet it on and I will be one step closer.
  17. Here is the ab-back plate assembly, I had to do some modifying in order to get the gap to where it needs to be. I'll be installing the belt this weekend and doing some final adjusting. Then the big moment, taking the approval pictures. I'm still going for EIB, Fingers crossed.
  18. Here is a couple with the strapping on the top assembly. I have to sand down a couple of the sharper edges but It fits nicely.
  19. Sorry for the bad picture, but you can see my problem. on the positive side you can not see where i patched the holes..
  20. As it sometimes happens I have to take a couple steps back... I tried a rough fitting of the upper assembly and the ab-back assembly and my torso is too long. The two sections do not have any overlap in the front.I will have to figure out a new strapping system and make some modifications. I don't know if I will be able to earn EIB status after I make it wearable.
  21. I have made some progress in the past few weeks. I have the upper body complete. All I need to do is sand down the edges so I'm not getting cut up like cheese every time i put it on. I have the thighs and lower legs also done. I had a minor event with the ab plate, I had mounted the belt too low and had to drill out the rivets and then patch the holes but it turned out way better then I hoped for. Hopefully i will still make EIB.
