  1. I did the same thing with my helmet and I just took some spackle and smoothed it out with my finger to add the depth. with the paint on top it should look fine.
  2. Ah! That makes more sense! I was trying to look for a curve along the length. Thank you for the enlightenment.
  3. Well I didn't trim anything, but I realigned it manually and held it in place with magnets. I am going to mark and drill new inner holes and not use those inner dimples. I don't think they are aligned correctly with each other. I also put my brow trim on. It seems to help keep things in place and fills the gap between the top and face.
  4. Ok thanks! Did you end up trimming anything on your helmet?
  5. I also have another question. I've looked at the differences between the left and right forearms, but I'm having a hard time distinguishing the difference between mine. Should I remove the return edge on these as well?
  6. Ok so I temporarily have the face on the back using screws. Using the pre-marked dimples, it sits a little cockeyed. any thoughts?
  7. Ok so I have my teeth trimmed out. I went for the pandatrooper "twinkie look". I also found a great set of hobby files at Menards that worked perfectly!
  8. I'm having the same problem! Not quite sure how to determine it yet. I think most of us have been starting on the helmet.
  9. Hey Rick, what did you use to take the E6000 off?
  10. Ok so I have the top taped to the back. I'm getting ready to glue the back and top together first
  11. Hello all! As several others have already started threads, I too have purchased the AM armor. This is my first build so I am a little nervous, but here goes nothing! The good 'ol brown box!
  12. I'm having a hard time distinguishing between the left and right sides of things. How did you determine it?
  13. Ok. Rick, did you just line up the dimples on the sides and the grooves in the back and top to start then?
  14. Mine comes in tomorrow (Wednesday)! I will also be starting a new thread. This is my first build, so please don't be afraid to correct me!
