  1. Hey Scott,

No matter what happens, (to the best of your abilities) be strong for your wife, she'll need you (as her man) to be that rock of strength that she can physically look on to take shelter and comfort in. We're all pulling (in prayer and spirit) for you and your family! I echo what Tony S. said, please let us know if we can do anything for you! :salute:

  2. Can´t you just to post it at eBay.com in stead of .co.uk?

    EDIT:

    Umm...yeah...shipping...customs....might still be a problem then :-/

eBay.com.uk addresses the issue of providing incorrect seller locations, and it would only take once to to have some "frantic lefty" who hates ALL "firearms" (and the internal combustion engine) to dob you in, and your account is permanently censured, and possible closed down.

  3. it was inevitable that ebay would remove the listing, theyve got so strict about anything even resembling a gun its ridiculous, they pulled my blaster listing within 48 hours even though i d written in red block capitals that it was a replica prop and unable to fire anything etc, i also noticed that some other blasters were taken off at the same time as mine, they sent me a message saying that even if the "gun" in question was clearly a toy and listed as such if it looks vaguely realistic its not allowed, and anything classed as a "replica" even if based on a film prop is also prohibited, it really is a joke.

I read through the eBay policy, and this seems to only apply to eBay.com.uk

All citizens of the U.K. are prohibitied from listing ANYTHING that so much as looks like a firearm, flaregun, or even a purple water pistol!! Now I must say, I'm an ARDENT supporter of RESPONSIBLE pro-gun rights, but THAT is a government getting out of control when you can't even so much as list a flippin' PURPLE WATER PISTOL? I don't understand why people put up with the things they do from the dolts in goverment... they ARE elected afterall.

PLEASE DO NOT start a political debate!! <_<

  4. All eBay links come up as "Item no longer available, or Invalid Item"...

"Screen Used" or not... that thing is a POS! The rear sight is FAKE.. it's a solid piece with no rear sight apeture assembly between the two "wings". It looks like a blend of real Sterling parts, but the rear end aft of the (crappy) pistol grip looks to be a solid casting of some sort of material.. I dig the power cylinders however

  5. stormtrooper e-11 blaster, 1:1 scale full size, made from solid polyurethane resin which has excellent sharp detail definition, the dimensions and version spec are the same as the very accurate (and expensive!) master replicas e-11 inc the scope and scope rail, barrel fins and end cap, plus all the sterling details including the folded stock, knurled textured grip, selector switch, and recessed ejector port with crescent aperture. finished in the correct satin black paint scheme with additional weathering, far more accurate than the more common converted hasbro in both size and features, and due to being of resin construction also has a very solid feel, overall a very accurate well made and detailed blaster that is excellent for trooping, also looks awesome on display and is great value at 75.00 plus 7.00 postage within the uk or 16.00 to europe, i did have it listed on ebay but they removed it due to the stupidly strict new firearm regulations, i made clear it was a replica prop but they took it off anyway! my ebay username is dubazoid if you want to check out my excellent feedback! please contact me at harkerpaul@talk21.com

    Hey Paul,

    Welcome to the FISD!!

I'd snatch that up yesterday, but I (personally) have no shortage of E-11's (or real Sterling SMG's)!! :P

That's a nice looking kit, but may I suggest a couple things to help aid you in selling this off?

    1.

Elaborate which currency you are using.... $75USD or 75GBP? ($USD is mainly the currency quoted on the forums, but not always, so it's best to elaborate!)

    2.

Do you only ship within the UK & Europe, or are you willing to ship to the USA... or world-wide?

    3.

Since apparently this is your first post (looking at your post counter), you should go introduce yourself in the "New Members Introduction" threads, and tell us a bit about yourself so we can get to "know" you. You'll get a much better response to your advertisement if you do!

    Hope that helps!!

    cheers Mate! :salute:

  6. Thanks T! :) Paypal sent. Tried to send ya a pm, but your inbox is full.

Yeah, my inboxes can get on the full side... accross 5-6 different forums at a time!!

Got your PP just fine, I already addressed the padded envelope and they will ship out tomorrow.

    Thanks!! :salute:

  7. Thankfully , Our CO has been working with the Police Prohibited Items Dept , and as long as we have the paper work done correctly , and have the proper dispenser locker ( Australian Standards AS 2993/27/DL ) , we can own , but not display such items .

Well as long as you particular State Premier rubber stamps it... maybe grease his/her palm with a $50 note it should fly OK! ;)

What a find! To think I have seen the movie a gazillion times and never spotted the C-38. A couple should look good nestled in my lightsaber and Star Wars books collections. :D

I have a better idea... you could nestle your light saber collection amongst the (oh lets say) 125 copies you're on the list for!!

I know I put my name down on the list but I don't actually have any money. Can you send them to me anyway? I promise I'll pay you when I get a job. Which I really will soon but I had to sell all my stuff to get a #1 limited edition comic of George Burns. But them my Mom made me return it - stupid 'rents!

Well, Paul... since you ARE a Legal-Eagle... I think you should file a lawsuit against your mom and get a court order directing her to pay for the 77 copies you are now on the hook for! :duim:

will you accept a kidney. my girlfriend has one she doesn't need.

i'd glady swap it for a cast C-38.

Well, OK... even though I already have 23 kidney's taken from inmates in Chinese prisons, I guess I could help you out... I'll PM you my info!

Wow, can't wait to get mine Stomper! :)

You may have to wait a bit... I just fried my first mold with all the pulls I just took off it!!

** CLAP CLAP ** nice one guys ;)

(In a distinct Elvis dialect) Thank you, thank you very much!! B)

I know I am a little late but....

Stomper, I will require eleventeen please.

I can only send certified check by runner

Wooooooowwww....... Eleventeen!! If this keeps going I'll be able to afford my own barrel of oil!!

Hi Stomper what would you take for the original?

if this may be an inconveniece, I am prepared to compensate you. Shall we say one million American dollars?

I would need to see the COA for the LFL dust though.

Well, I'd ask for the crown jewels, but since Charles will need them in a few years at his coronation... I'll take payment in barrels of oil!!

Well... He sold me the supposed original molds and now claim that I recast him but I AM THE ONLY ONE with the original molds that touched the insides of the 30 year old screen used prop. My molds still have the impression of a wookie hair stuck to the original C-38 by none other than Chewbacca himself. Stomper wont admit it but this is true....

You danged Islander Mafia types!! You already have a corner on the best molds for EVERYTHING ELSE!!! I admit I sold you the molds.... the molds of my of my buttocks (good thing the lights went out when you inspected the molds!!), and that Wookie hair you saw... well it's mine and I won't tell you from where!

    "I'm picking up your sarcasm."

"That's because I'm laying it on you pretty thick."

    MMMM.... sarcasm, it's what's for breakfast!! :P

  8. I want mine numbered to make it collectible as well. I was just telling my wife today that I would love to find a nice casting of a C-38 since I'd have to sell my home to get an original.

Well Terrell, you get the numbers 1 - 235 reserved for you list!

Tony , great find !! There are a group of my squad mates looking at the screen now , and they are all interested . I believe the bank job is being planned even as I type . How ,many of these little beauties can you fit on a pallet , and what would the postage cost ( overnight if possible) be ? Thanks mate :)

Dave, I'll send you 1,000 of them next week (PM on it's way with my PP info), and I'll try to smugle another 2,500 through customs with me in August on my way to Melbourne! Didn't AUS ban all dispenser replicas? ;)

  9. :o you would actually USE these? :o This is a total display piece only. It is looking to be the center of my collection.

You mean... all 135 centers of your collection? (see interest list) B)

How would I configure a fan system to cool it down when I use it?

Sorry, no technical support is being offered on these, even if you are on the list for 65 of them. ^_^

  10. i'll undercut stomper, i have a camera already , and i'm in the uk so cheaper postage, so just send me your armour and 45 quid. although it may take a few years for me to do the pics but i promise i'll return your armour within the millenium

Hey Gary... GET IN LINE, MATE!!! :P

  11. WOW!!,...Nice spot Mike

Have you got that in Hi-res so we can pick out all the fine detail?

Apparently the best shot of it is in a deleated scene of when Luke was fixing R2

Perhaps thay might reinstate it in the up and coming Blu-ray release...fingers crossed hey? :D

Oh Yeah.. that's right... um... I forgot about that scene... yeah, yeah, that's the ticket!! This fact legitimately DOUBLES the price of any replicas I will produce, and yes the "cellulose-film" replicas will be an optional extra... for a slightly doubled fee!

I forgot to mention earlier... if you post on this thread you AUTOMATICALLY commit yourself to buying one of my replicas... price to be determined! ;)

  12. Not too shabby, Peter! :duim:

Tell you what, if you are THAT unhappy with it I'm willing to help you out! Just send me that TK kit, your camera, and....50 quid, and I'll send you back some STELLAR photos of it! ;):P

  13. Hey guys!

Being a goof, I've lost 1 of the 6 gold screws used in the ears for a TE HDPE bucket. Right now I have a light switch cover screw in place, but it just looks silly. Anyway have any idea where I could pick up this exact screw?

    Thanks!

    -Rob :pint1:

You should be able to EASILY find the brass screw at any hardware store. ;)

  14. Man, talk about making a guy feel stupid. I must ask, where was this used on screen?

    Hey Caleb,

It was down in the cargo hold with Han, Chewie, Ben, & Luke when they were hiding from the Stormtroopers after they were tractor beamed aboard the Death Star.... trust me, its screen used!! ;)
