    These are still a go, the level of interest is not an issue as these are going to go onto my ROTJ version rubber E-11's... I'm just buried with a multitude of other things ATM, plus I have a LOT of tax preparation I have to get through and the deadline is fast approaching!! Hang in there, this will happen!! ;)

    Sorry to have been MIA for so long... work, schooling and family have taken up just about ALL of my time... I just got home from a 14-1/2 hour workday. <_<

    They are hollow, so you can add whatever you like as ling as it is </= to 17mm in diameter.

     

     

    I have the list updated, I'm going to start gathering the raw materials in about another week or so and get started on this run, hopefully it will fill up some more as I have 50 sets of speakers on order which is a lot of money to pay up front.

    What's the difference between the $20 finished ones and the Finely Finished $50 ones? I'm definately interested.

     

     

    Hey Tom... the $20 versions are completely finished, ready to install, and do NOT have speakers inside them... the $50 versions have the speakers installed and wired, are completely finished and ready to install.. you just finish the wiring connections to whatever sound system you're using... LMK and I'll get you listed for whatever you want. :salute:

    Now for some important aspects of this run:

     

    PLEASE understand my intention is NOT to sound like (or be) a jerk, but in order to ensure this production run goes smoothly (and to maintain my sanity) please read and heed the following:

     

    1.

    DO NOT PM me concerning this run.... PERIOD! Please post in this thread so you do not get lost in the obscene amount of PM's and emails I get on a daily basis! :blink:

     

    2.

    I DO NOT accept pre-payments... EVER! I will PM you my PayPal information or address to send a check or money order to when your Hovi's are ready to ship, THEN you can send in the Payment! If I drop dead, or just decide to hang it up for whatever reason, YOU are protected from losing your money.

     

    3.

    ALL updates concerning everyone's order status will be in this first post, covering the date when you are PM'd, cancelled, or when your order shipped. (easy-peezy)

     

    4.

    Everyone so far has been pretty terrific, but I did have to go back and forth with one individual a few times because he thought I should sell him a set of Hovi's w/speakers for about half of what I charge... if you don't want to spend $50 for a set of Hovi's w/speakers... THEN DON'T! Move Along, find a new hobby, or accuire some awesome bow-staff skills and build your own! :P

     

    5.

    Out of the HUNDREDS of shipments I have sent out, I have had problems with only three shipments so far; one to Beijing-China, one to Yucatan-Mexico, and the other to LaPaz-Bolivia. If you are an "overseas trooper" be advised, YOU are responsible for your country's importation regulations, and taxes. If your shipment gets lost, stolen, or confiscated I will have a copy of the US Postal receipt that has the serial number from the US customs form on it that I can give you, but that is about it. Once your shipment leaves this country, it is TOTALLY out of my hands, and the US Postal Service DOES NOT track, or confirm deliveries to overseas addresses. You can pay for FedEx shipping for more assured delivery (it worked for my Mexico shipment for an extra $35USD!!) No refunds or replacements for "lost in the mail" speaker versions will be issued, NO EXCEPTIONS!! . By joining the interest list, you agree to these specific terms.

     

    6. (The most important aspect)

    This is a hobby!! I do it when I have time... sometimes I have LOTS of spare time, sometimes I have NO spare time, so please be patient for your turn to come up. My real-life responsibilities come first, and I surely don't do this because I need the money, so I won't be working on these every night until 2-am.... Did I mention, NO PM's PLEASE? ;)

    I cant find anywhere else to put this but here's what happened this morning.

     

    I come strolling thru the living room, and spot a package from Stomper. Im like sweet! It came! The wife unit responds with "Oh, thats been here since like Friday."

     

    I mean c'mon, its a package from Stomper!

     

     

    UUUGH.... THOSE WIFE-UNITS, I TELL YA!!! They ALWAYS find a way to torture us in oh-so-subtle ways!!! :P

     

     

     

    So anyway I tear open the package to see my new Stomperized power cylinders, counter and maghousing.

     

     

    I can picture the frenzy right now... that poor bubble-wrap lined envelope!! :lol:

     

     

     

     

    Simply Stunning and Not a single air bubble! Hands down the finest cast props I have ever received. These are even better than the cog e-11 grips. Best quality ever!!!

     

    Kudos to the Master Caster!

     

     

    Wow... thanks for the compliments... I don't always get so "lucky" with EVERYTHING I make!! :salute:

     

    FYI- All of those were cast off my scratch-built master patterns, and w/o the benefit of a pressure-pot to squelch air-bubbles... I tamp the "H" out of those molds as they are being casted to dislodge the trapped air pockets... I have GOT to get my pressure pot and pressure chamber completed & in service!! <_<

    Hey Troops,

     

     

    All of you DIY blaster-builders may be interested to know that I FINALLY have the master patterns completed for my version of the ROTJ E-11 U-tracks and will be making a mold of them within a day or two... here is the first set of prototypes for your review:

     

     

    (The camera flash really lit up the dust on them, but they are a deep-black rubber... my computer needs an overhaul and it now takes FOREVER to load photos so this is what I have for now)

    All you do is glue them on with either CA glue, contact adhesive, or rubber cement (supplied by you)... easy-peezy.

     

    These will cost the same as the ANH version E-11 T-track kits that I make... $15.00USD (includes PayPal fees & World-Wide Shipping)

     

     

     

    As with all my for sale threads... PLEASE DO NOT PM me about these (my in-boxes are ALWAYS out of control across 6 different forums), please post your interest and questions here... believe me, its FAR, FAR easier for me to keep track that way!!     Hey Troops,

     

    I've had to come up for air and take a breather away from any prop-building for a bit... working the day-job full-time, 4-hour electrical code-classes (after work), remodeling (COMPLETELY) my (nearly) 130-yr. old house, and family resonsibilities... well, something had to give... and this IS just a hobby for me.

     

    I'm taking a 3-day weekend, so I'm going to start producing these (and the other stuff I make) again. I'll get the list updated ASAP!
