Hey Curtis,
I'm working on getting the troopers in run-2 taken care of first, I am sending out PM's for the first FIVE sets of Hovi's w/Speakers for RUN-2 right after this post! I'm about one week behind schedule due to work, family, and a niiiice case of stomach flu a couple days ago.... yeah, good times!! I will try to get some more speaker versions belted out this weekend and PM's rolling!

Sheesh, it ONLY took about 20 days for the postal system to get them to you... SHEESH!!
Um, I usually remove the little "tags" that are in the grooves with a razor knife, and sharpen up the edges and recesses where needed with a jewler's file, and wet sand to smooth surface where needed then shoot flat black paint on them for a nice uniform finish. I use CA glue on the inside lip placed in small drops around the inner lip then gently pursuade the screens into place. THat's about all there really is to it!

THIS RUN IS NOW CLOSED!!!
I'll get all these (and Run-2) made up and sent off ASAP, but I have to get on with other things!
There won't be anymore runs for a while, and thanks to EVERYONE who has placed an order, PM's will START going out this week on into next week as the Hovi's get completed!

LOL... Hey troops, I almost have three sets with speakers ready to go, but my wife is getting irritated at me for spending time out in the workshop... I have to balance all of this with the things I have to juggle in the domestic side of life, or else ALL of my Star Wars prop building comes to and end... we wouldn't want that, would we?
Believe me, I want nothing more than to get all the orders I have OUT THE DOOR!! Hang in there this week PM's are going to start going out with payment info!!

This weekend is my visitation weekend w/ my three kids, so I plan to start cranking out some more sets starting Monday evening. The mini-speakers arrived yesterday, so I have to start getting those who ordered them on run-2 squared away, BUT the versions w/o speakers for THIS run can be worked in along with the speaker versions... in short, those of you who ordered non-speaker versions will be getting PM's this upcoming week with my PayPal details!

If you are referring to Keith, he may be pre-occupied with the CE event going on over there in Europe ATM. I have never heard of ANYONE having any issues with him, ever.

I think you made a mistake with my order. Did you send me the "finely finished" vs the unassembled? The reason I ask is? those are some FINE looking Aerators.

Brad.... LOL, believe me... if you saw the unfinished versions sitting next to the finished versions you WOULD see the difference!
Glad you liked them, and thanks for the feedback! I'm almost PARANOID over the stuff I send out because the LAST thing I want is for someone to pay good money for something and feel like they got ripped off, regardless if its $12 or $1,200!

Any ETA on when the "finely finished" sets will be complete? Just curious. Still waiting for my ROM/FX to arrive...
Thomas, I am working on hand detailing the five sets of finely finished w/o speakers and hopefully my wife will stop tasking me with "chores" long enough so I can belt them out by Wednesday. I'll be PM-ing those of you who ordered this version shortly... hang in there!
