Have you tried contacting ebay to see if they can do something about it?-----------------
Also, try contacting one of the makers here directly and see if they've ran into this sort of problem and what they did.

Have you tried contacting someone from the even and see if they had a person in charge of Lost and Found? It's worth a try.

Id rather spend that on a couple of some vader helmet art. Wish I had the $ to buy some from my favorite artists like Huck Gee, David Flores, Jeff Soto, Jesse Hernandez, Mars -1, and Buff Monster.

Since im on a 6 month waiting list for my armor, I thought id brouse around and throw my 2 cents in.
First and foremost, this is what worked for me, understand that it may not be for everyone.
After High School I got to 230pnds where I weighed 160. The GYM wasnt cutting it, I wasn't into picking things up and putting them down. I started getting into running of all things, after work it was a good stress relief. I went from doing a mile which I never did to doing the L.A. Marathon (this was in a year's period of time).
What actually helped me is finding something I found interesting and kept switching it up. The marathon was a 1 time thing for me, it was brutal but very rewarding. I switched to doing fun running like obsticle courses - The Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder, then Spartan Race (there's easyer ones like Run or Dye, Zombie Run etc.). These were cool because you got to do them with friends or by yourself. The race itself in prospective is not whats important (very fun though), the fact that you are training and eating right for it, is. After this I jumped to Jiu-jitsu, it was a giant leap but all in all it is fun, most importantly I lost a lot of weight. The first thing that may come to mind is Karate Kid where the guys were assholes and you dont fit in, however its the total oposite. People are very nice, you learn at your own pace and best of all you meet new people. it's of all ages, weight classes and gender ( Ed O'Neill aka Al Bundy is a black belt in it). It also helps to know that you dont need to get in shape before you join.
Find something to do besides standing still, you dont even need to do it every day, I train 3x a week sometimes I hike or run on sundays. Lastly, Eat 3 complete meals and 3 snacks and go to sleep on time (yes a cheat meal a week is ok). Reply or pm me if you have any questions. I hope I helped a bit.
Best of luck everyone.

I'm a hair under 6'2" and around 220 and I had to cheat on the backs of the thighs and shins, but no shims on my kit.
What armor do you have?
I inherited chicken legs, thats why I try to stay as fit as possible so my upper waist matches my legs lol. I dont think I will need to shim width wise.

wow! you make those people in front of you look like children... did you have to shim anything? Im trying to search posts of people that had to shim because of their size, in case we need to do so for my brothers armor.

DON'T BUY FROM EBAY
Theres no "Like" button for your comment.
The ebay thing is very tempting, but I tell myself that they are selling them cheap for a reason.

Thanks for your help, everyone.

Thanks,
Wanted to go though a builder in U.S. never done international deals/shipping. But if it must be an option, im gona have to start talking to other builders. Im more worried about my brothers armor. I think I can manage with ATA, would the gap be a problem with 501?

Hi Everyone,
So my brother and I got in contact with ATA and added ourselves to the waiting list (long wait).
We dont want to waist his time and others waiting, so I just wanted to know if anyone here has an ATA armor and is about our weight and height, and were successful in building to your body type. Here's our info.
Me:
Height: 6'2
Weight: 190pnds
(Didnt say anything about my info)
Brother:
Height: 6'0
Weight: 230 pnds
(He stated that more than likely he will need to shim some parts to fit.)

I just asked to be on the ATA waiting list , I gotta wait a few months but its worth it. If possible, post updates on your build, would like to see what im up against.
Welcome and good luck.

Hey Everyone,
So i've been lurking for a while, I hope someone can relate when I say that reserching for armor as a noob is a battle in its own. I started from the looking at Party City of all places and thinking I would like a legit one, then to ebay, then websites that sell "authentic armor", then here where my face is like this with so much info of mistakes I could have made from buying off the mentioned places (lol Party City).
So, Im looking to buy the one armor and not upgrade for a very long time. Is there such a thing?
Anyone out there that's about 6' 2 190pnds that can give me pointers and builder suggestions? I was leaning towards ATA since I seen lots of
