  1. I'm sure we'll all be working overtime at pre-release events to promote the films anyway. There will be many many calls from Mary Franklin for us to all suit up and support the release of the new films. To me I'd rather be out with the public watching the films than be up on the screen any day. Being the tangible part of the movies is a huge reason why I do this.
  2. I love the Mother Talzin, and here's me hoping the night sisters and mandos make an appearance in Ep VII as has been rumored for a while now.
  3. Yea, we have the Dew Back Ridge garrison in New Mexico that often troops with us here in Denver, and we troop down in Albuquerque with them. But their members are theirs and our members are ours. Though that garrison used to be a squad within the mountain garrison until they grew large enough to stand on their own.
  4. Camelpaks are also a great way to stay hydrated and are just about inconspicuous enough not to be noticed. Personally weather I'm in Vader or TK I choose life over looking perfect.
  5. Great pics, we just did Lego store troops out here the past two weekend as well, lots of fun. Jenny you need to get back to building Greg's Vader!
  6. That's awesome, we've got one of these coming up at the end of May. Hoping it will be as fun as this one looks.
  7. They were actually working on it and it was closed when we were out there
  8. Thanks guys, it was short notice for us but definitely a once in a lifetime kind of event. And as a fellow airplane geek I was also in full on nerd mode that day
  9. The Mountain Garrison was asked by DIA and Lucasfilm to assist with some PR work for the airport. We decended on and conquered the airport with the help of our leader Lord Vader. With the affectionately named Bluecifer outside DIA, this horse is like 30' tall and scary up close. We were then asked to "help" with some airport operations, Stormtroopers being Stormtroopers don't always get the job done as the boss expected. A little force choke later and it was back to work. Job well done troopers, even Lord Vader approves. More photos at the DIA Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152103709417895.1073741943.89087927894&type=1 May the fourth be with you!
  10. Small world, I was a 15T renamed to 67T for about 10 years. I love my collections of lose parts flying in close formation they called the Blackhawk. I was getting my warrant packet together before I got injured and was forced to leave the service. Been to Eustis but never made it down to Rucker. Spent the majority of my time at Campbell (dang boomerang badge kept bringing me back). They're really retiring the little birds
