Thanks for sharing. The smiles on those kids faces says it all. What an awesome way to celebrate a Birthday.

Awesome! Now you are a color sander. Works on your car too. Thanks for posting this. I've certainly suffered from these bad paint jobs. Next time I'll have enough guts to give it a try.

Resurrecting my old nearly dead topic. I can't believe it's been over a year since I last posted in this thread?!!! What a hell of a year. I feel like I just climbed out of a washing machine after the spin cycle.
Anyway, the vac form table is finally complete. A little bit of fine tuning to the hold frame and some solvent through the oil less vac pump and I'll be forming.

4, 5, 6, 3, 2, 1. It really depends on how you look at it. Ep 4 had the biggest impact on my 11 year old brain. Nothing beats the summer of 77. In a different way the anticipation leading up to ESB and then finally seeing it was an amazing experience. I relived a lot of that before Ep1 but it was a bit of a let down in the theater. Probably because we had such huge expectations. I first realized that Ep1 wasn't working when I looked over at my wife who was sound asleep in the theater.

I can visualize the old guy in overalls with the 6 inch paint brush painting them in Ainsworth's back yard.
