Welcome aboard:-)

Welcome to FISD:-)

Fyi you'll be spending about a grand when you're all set and done. Might want to keep that from the wife so she doesn't change her mind
Pick which episode stormtrooper you like, find a maker to a suit that fits your body type, and read the turials and see how other people have assembled their armor. Best way to get a jump start while you await the big brown box.
Only a grand???..I' m way beyond two...closer to three:-)
But a hearty welcome Josh:-).,

Welcome aboard :-)... ( just checking if my hand is still intact...it is :-))

1 or 3, I would say.....no. 2is a little too square in the toe, but of superior quality compared to the others....but.
Now that you are shopping on ebay.co.uk, why not go for Loake 290?...there are several, and they are one of the most "correct" ones.....and high quality as well:-)

Had the last highlights made in my Boba tatt....finally finished

I have made this thread on high quality boots, that also are very close to the originals:/)

Besides these you could opt for Bass Amsterdam, or Land End Fulton chelsea boots..:-)
Stay clear of CA boots, they do not lok the part

From what I can see on the pics, the heel is way too high..whether that will be a showstopper or not, I am unsure..
But why not try and find the types/brands that we know are CRL acceptable?....:-)

You should go for the black version, the originals were black.:-)
You will be using between 5-9 layers, apply thin layers. You should sand them lightly, and wipe them with acetone, before painting...and leave time enough to dry between applying the various layers....
