Depends on what they do to it. I don't recall any femme armour in anh. If anovos is making it smaller in size and shape ...I know a few shorter troopers wearing anh armour just fine.

We are a great resource. Your local garrison might have armour parties you can bring bits to for help. I'd go through a build thread for the armour and collect everything you need first then start trimming.

Yes. If your gut exceeds your chest, if your hips exceed your guy, you will need a massive rear shim or a very large corset attachment. The chest plate itself is also sculpted to fit a certain way.Looking at those pics of the kidney and ab plates....are folk like me who have a bit of a belly going to run into issues? If I were to try and get them to sit as nicely as they look in that pic...my chest plate would need to be about 4 inches in front of my body to maintain the look.

Personally I think the CRL needs to be exacting to the point of preventing the disappointment of people buying the wrong stuff. Put strap info and Velcro info and screws and stuff in the CRL. Lead the charge. Troopers helping troopers. First to the fight. Then people can go to their hardware salad fabric store and ask for number 6 metric hex bolts 26mm long and non adhesive Velcro this wide and eleastic this wide.
Want more Stormie's? Make it impossible to be told no that's wrong. Making the CRL child's play might get more people buying kits...but they won't finish them.
And it will keep third party abuse down. Can't undersell the license holder if you have to spend hundreds of hours finessing your knock off kit.
Anovos should sell a strapping kit with everything you need to wear this ...and spares...

Easy answer is just start undoing screws. That should get the ears off...lenses...any trim is likely glued on.

Oh I like the boots. I just would never send soldiers out in them :-). Some nice vibrum soles and ankle support would rock my horrible feet is all.

most garrisons allow non members to sign up for very basic access...but you might find you only get to say hi and ask for a mentor.

i think you could buy a kit more cheaply and have someone local build it to centurion for you.

i really would like this to be the first white armor that *doesnt* have EIB or Centurion. Just make the CRL inclusive. 'shoulders, elbows, and knees have a ribbed gasket. Gaskets may be rubber, rubber-like material, or cloth.'
let the individual builder decide how insane they want to go, ie, real screws in their resin holster. i'll bet someone is already making a multi level metal version.
And please can we keep the ambiguity out of it? no more 'should' and 'minimal'. use real measurements. it is already such a complicated build that it doesn't need interpretation. it needs specifics.
please.

Are they loose around thighs or they are not. It sims to me my thigh armour need to be more loose around so it dont pinch me when I lift my knee?

depends on how beefy your thighs are. mine are huge on me so i have to pad them a bit in back to pull them away from my knee so i can bend.
if you can get out to one of your local garrisons events or meetings bring the kit out and let them show you how to make it fit better.

your local garrison, [badlands i think? ] will do the basic approval. you will need to join their forum, and ask their GML for assistance and we're happy to point you in the right directions...like making sure your armour fits you properly and changing your helmet.
you will need to submit 6 pictures: front, back, left, right, front without helmet on, and an action pose. again the badlands garrison would be where you submit them so you'd need to ask them how they want it.

You'd have to add strips to the back closure so you can slide them higher.

your thighs need to go up about two inches. that will free up your knees. if they can't go up two inches....shim.

Yup those ones. Take some white off and done. They come in summer and winter weights so I bought both.

Find another tfa builder and ask to see his gloves. Mine are packed.
They required modification.

They are found items. I'm sure that info will be obvious by the tag inside when you see them.

All I could suggest is a mid seam piece of plastic to increase the rigidity of the area slightly. One thing to consider is the type of bondo. I can't by the flexible general purpose stuff in Canada. Just the rest cap bullet proof stuff that seems to crack. I'm going to use plastic surgery flexible epoxy filler and semy rigid. Seems to want to work better. I'm not big so the chest yokes fit OK. Anyone larger I can see having fit and flex issues.
