Really? Big scene with field of troopers are actually guys in suits? Awesome. Where did they store ten thousand suits of tk armor?. Oh, right, on that hard drive....
First of, you're obviously talking a lot of BS with that statement. Secondly CGI aren't cheaper than actual props.
I was poking fun at the notion that he thinks somebody makes any costume armour cheap and in bulk. It took years for them to be widely available after starwars.
-
Just use CGI. Most of the troopers on screen are cg anyway. Or, wait twenty years.
-
That's what they're worth. 1800.00 minus the helm. Tier one will be cheap. Then 1000. Then 1200. Ish. The cheaper they are at preorder the more they get.

Well...if you can leave like 5mm space covered by cover strips it'll expand them a little...

Easy. Put mica padding in the kidney plate. Push it out two inches. The bum plate will hang down better, and be held up by suspenders and in place at the bottom by the elastic from cod to coccyx. Just make sure the back and chest connection is long enough and add two straps between back and kidney to hold it.

Is that with the skin tight undersuit? If you cannot pull them higher and you cannot bend your knees , you'll have to trim the top.

Anovos is a off white satin finish. Really noticable with new white boots.

Only needs one.

For centurion you'll be told to make the shoulder bells as tight to shoulder strap as possible. Looks good :-)

I'm skinny. I need a pad in the fore shin of my sniperplate leg to keep it from tucking under my thigh, and I padded the back of both thighs so they hang the same. I have padding in my forearms , two strips in each along the outer and inner sides, so my hands are in the middle and with the strapping from bicept to forearm I don't get bites or too many clunks. I'd love to spend an hour with people to figure out the perfect fit so I can move around silently...but I've lost thirty pounds in the last four months due to unknown illness so my midsection is like a hoolahoop. I'll live with it.
-
Or...if its a clear screenshot...can you see the sniperplate? If yes, you can work with your gml with the appropriate detachment for a first in legion crl as "embelleshed tk" or "packless td".

Also, you can win a lot of costume contests at Halloween. Until your co-workers boycott you coming back in it again the following year because it just isn't fair.
Nobody should wear a uniform to a costume contest...;-)

Three snaps keeps it straight even with a blaster in the holder. Snaps in back as well. Velcro will keep top flap in place and td in place. Check the pics in my eib or centurion apps.Perfect. I figured since they're hidden it wouldn't be a big deal! I don't know, there's something about two snaps that makes me feel, weak. Lol.
I'd prefer 3 just for the solidity.
I wanna troop, not screw around with snaps. Lol.

Save it for a death trooper build.

For which suit? Which crl?

Ideally you want the belt to be as wide as the end between the 45/degree cuts. Which differs for every makers plastic belt.

...did you manage to save the whole thread at once or did you have to it message by message.I saved this entire thread as a pdf and am using it religiously in my build! and I think I might start on my boots tonight

S goes inside. Put the split at the front so the dip of the vocoder hides it. Find an ap centuriun build for the pic.

It's not their shipping charge. It's what it costs them to ship. Get a US address at myusaddress and go grab it in ogdensburg or ship to the UPS store.

so here's a question for you: whats the distance from handle to long end, extended?
-
Please don't use dollar store weenie rings on your tk. Just saying.
-
There's a legiom election link on the main page. 501s.com/forum/elections I think.

I'm more concerned about arm and leg diameters...

Where to get cheap armor
in TFA Stormtrooper

Those suits are from the close ups. A lot of real stunt guys on screen yes. Wait for the making of and behind the scenes shots on the blurays.
