I'm seeing that too. I also trimmed some of the foot off. Maybe I can still salvage mine. No word on new ears for me though.

Can you measure how much plastic you have on the edge of the round part of the ear? I'm curious if I can salvage the one I have.

Yes, the rest is pretty much done. Still need to do some of the strapping. And possible some trimming of return edges for a better fit. Nothing about decals specifically for the NE helmet. I bought a set that are for AM/FX and I think they will fit. But I haven't applied them yet so I don't know for sure.

Made this last year. EVA foam and then given a resin "skin".

Uhg. That doesn't give me a lot of hope. I emailed trooper gear about it today. I'll let you know what I hear. I may end up needing another pair too. Maybe I'll just go ahead and order a set now just in case.

I'm having a horrible time with the ears on the NE helmet as well. Have you made any progress? I had to put mine down before I smashed it I was getting so frustrated. It seems to me that there's no way they will fit to touch the ridge line as mentioned above.

Ah ok. I see what you mean. I did trim that. It did not fit over the box molded on the ab otherwise.

So this is what happened. Going to have to rip this apart and try again. Maybe use super glue or something that set faster. Gotta say. Not a fan of the three part helmet.
