Has anyone ever used any caulk or other product to fill in gaps by the ear pieces on their helmet? I don't understand why I still have gaps even though I purposefully left excess when I trimmed out my ear pieces.

Just bought an ATA helmet...very good quality and easy to cut and work with.

I used picnic table clips found in the camping section at Walmart. They are stainless steal and were easy to bend. Even drilling a hole through them wasn't that hard.

I just bought an ATA (ABS) helmet yesterday. Should get it in a couple weeks. I'm very excited. I've heard nothing but great things about ATA also!

Thanks for the feedback guys! What's everyone's thoughts on eFX armor? Isn't the helmet too big and not rounded correctly on top?

Hey everybody, I have already built one stormtrooper ANH stunt made of the styrene plastic. I'm still rather new to the hobby - just got approved in October. I was considering upgrading to a higher quality costume, but I've heard mixed results as far as which route to go. For example, the ABS plastic is much stronger and more durable over time, but aren't the helmets in those kits usually inaccurate as far as the dome of the helmet goes? Are all the ABS kits the FX kind? Could someone maybe provide recommendations of the best armor to get that's durable but also highly accurate? Thanks!
